We are a collective of Seattle musicians deeply rooted in Seattle’s jazz and rock traditions. As members of several local ensembles, each member brings creative arrangements and compositions, and an affinity for improvisation. In the spirit of Horace silver, we believe that the small jazz combo instrumentation and arrangements with memorable melodies provide a vehicle for improvisation. We want listeners to feel the familiarity of a friend and the excitement of meeting a stranger.
