Delivering fringe Americana from Washington’s Snoqualmie Valley to the world, Ask Sophie is given to fits of purposeful songs regarding truth, lies, drinking, and prison. Ask Sophie’s music incorporates traditional folk music, old-time country and rock ‘n roll, with a punk rock sensibility. They convey stories of outlaws, criminals, outcasts, misfits, and general misfortune, while leaving the audience engaged with a sense of hope and purpose.
