Members: Connor Coffing: Vocals, David Sustaita: Guitar/Screams, Chris Wilson: Bass/Screams, Jesse Pena: Guitar, Christian Marrocelli: Guitar, Darryll Railsback: Drums The six members of this band are as diverse as the music they make. Connor Coffing has been surrounded by music since birth. His father is an award winning producer/number one hit song writer while one of his older sisters is a UNT graduate with a major in Vocal Jazz and Jazz Studies while the other is the manager for music store/private lesson institute Rockology in Katy Texas. He made the honors choir at Morton Ranch High School and has been writing poetry since the age of 12. His voice has a nice mix of Rock grit with smooth R&B licks all mixed into one. Although he is a talented singer his lyricism is where he truly shines. With very poetic yet accessible concepts behind his writing he could truly be the voice of this generation. David Sustaita, the lead guitarist of Ambivalence is a multi-instrumentalist that can sing/scream and play the saxophone, guitar, drums, bass and piano. Through out all four years of high school, He has been in the top wind ensemble as a principle player for alto saxophone at Morton Ranch High School and the lead guitar in the jazz band at Morton Ranch. On the saxophone, He qualified for the region (region 23) band more than once, and have also advanced to area (area F) missing All-State by one spot. I’ve also advanced to State Solo & Ensemble, making first divisions on pieces such as “Flight of the Bumblebee” by Rimsky-Korsokov. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, rhythm guitarist Christian Marrocelli got his first guitar around the age of 14 after his uncle passed away. He instantly fell in love. Throughout high school, he was involved in many local projects before meeting Jesse Pena and Connor Coffing. After playing on stage for the first time, he decided that it was something he wanted to do again and again. Currently a student at the University of Houston-Downtown, he practices his instrument and writes with the rest of his band on the weekends. Jesse Pena played violin for his schools orchestra all through middle school and high school. After meeting Guitarist Christian Marrocelli in high school he decided to learn another instrument and picked up an old guitar he had for years. Now currently goes to Lonestar college and hopes to transfer to a music university soon. He used the money he earned at a tactical fire arms store to add to his guitar and amp collection. Chris Wilson started playing music when he was 6 years old, playing piano with his dad and sisters. He got his first guitar in 2009 and has been playing non stop ever since. He took up bass after Connor reached out to him to be the bass player for his band, and now I’d say I like bass more than any other instrument. He plays bass and sings for Ambivalence, as well as writing music for his own side project. Darryll Railsback, was born on September 22, 1995. Darryll has been playing drums and studying music for the greater part of his teenage and early adult life. On June 24th, 2013, he joined Ambivalence, in hopes to blossom as a musician and further his career in the music industry. Since his introduction in the bands line-up, he has joined other local projects to grow further as a drummer and musician. His influences include bands such as RHCP, Led Zeppelin, Slayer, The Fall of Troy, Dance Gavin Dance, and countless other artists varying in genres. Railsback currently lives in Katy, producing music for his EDM project, writing music with other members of Ambivalence, and gaining experience gigging and recording music with his other band.
