Amanda Imani

Amanda Imani is an international artist and producer and has graced the international stage.

Her artistic journey is commendable with prestigious awards in Asia and Europe; to include the South East Asia (SEA) VOIZE Independent Music Award (VIMA) for Selamilah Cinta (Best Pop Song) in 2010 and Cemburu (Best Song Collaboration) in 2013; Best Stage Presence - Organizacion de Festivales Europes de Musica in Spain in 2012; Best Vocal Presentation and Artistic Qualities; by Cultural Association Melos; in Romania in 2012; Best Vocal for Best New Female Artist - Anugerah Planet Muzik Asia in  Singapore in 2011; Best Original Song;Selamilah Cinta for 20th International Music Festival Discovery in Bulgaria in 2011; Best Local English Album at the Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM) in 2010; Best Young Talent by World Association of Festivals and
Artists (WAFA), Malta, in 2011; to name a few and numerous other nominations.

Amanda Imani performance highlights include the opening act for Earth, Wind and Fire at the iconic Formula One (F1) concert at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia in 2009. 

She also performed the Fully Seasoned F1 concert with a full orchestra and band (rockhestra). In 2010 Amanda opened for Wyclef Jean and Fatboy Slim at the Ferarri Party F1 concert after she sang the “Negaraku” (national anthem) before the flag off of the F1 race.

Adding more color to her sparkling music career Amanda performed for 30 minutes in front of a packed audience at the Supernova Concert at the prestigious Palais du Festival for MIDEM in Cannes, France on 2013. In Singapore, Amanda performed at the Marina Barrage in 2012. Amanda has performed her own showcases in many performance venues in Kuala Lumpur to include the Hard Rock Cafe, Deluca, Attic, Italiannes, Alexis, and No Black Tie.

Amanda was specially dressed in Valentino couture and starred in a performance for the principal of Valentino from Italy; held at a the prestigious Starhill Kuala Lumpur. On another special occasion, she performed for Tiffany & Co at the KLCC, recreating the New York, New York and the Great Gatsby era in 2013. She performed at A Journey Through Time for Rolex Malaysia in 2014. Amanda was the muse at the Stylo by Mercedes Benz in 2010 and performed for international VIPs.

Amanda has also opened for Dato Sheila Majid; Malaysia Queen of Jazz; at the acclaimed Dewan Philharmonic Petronas in 2013.

Further she performed 30 minutes at a New Years Countdown Concert in Yunan, China with over 2 million audience and accompanied by spectacular dances and fireworks.

Amanda was also invited a panel jury for the Crystal Star Music Festival, Romania in Memory of Michael Jackson. Here, she also performed as a special guest artist. 

Amanda is incredibly multi-talented and has written and produced her own songs. She collaborated her latest album Blackheart with Starbucks Malaysia and partial proceeds from the 178 Starbucks Cafes were channeled to the Make A Wish. She has also collaborated with Estee Lauder Malaysia for the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, “Save the Rainforest” with the World Wildlife Federation (WWF) Malaysia, and for the Malaysia Independent Animal Rescue (MIER).
