Ken Stringfellow

Ken Stringfellow has been a fixture on the indie landscape since forming the band the Posies in 1988, one of the most acclaimed bands from Seattle. Ken also spent ten years on the road and in the studio with REM, participating in their world tours. Ken was instrumental in helping reform the iconic Memphis band Big Star with the late Alex Chilton. As a producer, he's worked with Damien Jurado, the Long Winters, Jill Sobule, and actress Carice van Houten (Game of Thrones). With four solo albums out, his live solo shows His shows are legendary, pushing minimalism to its core definition, often performing without using a PA, Ken’s voice soars, cries, leaps from barely audible to room-filling anguish, joy, sorrow and humor.
