The Black Clouds
The Black Clouds is a rock and soul band from Seattle, Washington whose musical repertoire is almost as diverse as their background. With members hailing from Nashville and New Orleans to Seattle and Brooklyn, their musical influences and styles may be disparate but they are all undoubtedly united in the groove. No matter what style they are playing be it rock, soul, jazz, alt-country, or fusion, the Black Clouds bring a fresh, unique and infectious feel to their music that elevates your mind, body, and soul.
Even though the group is comprised of young adults, collectively they have over 50 years of professional music experience and have worked in all aspects of the music business from sidemen to songwriters to producers. With the musical sensibilities ranging from Stevie Wonder to The Band, combined with the energy and grit of the Rolling Stones seated on top of a rhythmic foundation inspired by musical pioneers such as Sly and the Family Stone and Prince, the Black Clouds will leave your ears and more importantly your soul wanting more from the first downbeat till the last cymbal crash.
