The Hasslers
The Hasslers, local Missoula Americana/ Alt-Country troubadours, have been spending the last year in the Pacific Northwest, getting their feet wet in the big city music scene, playing venues weekly in Seattle and Portland, and most importantly, recording their full-length album, State Center. This new 12 song LP documents their move, both musically and lyrically, through homesick blues songs, lovelorn country songs, and a new turn into roots-rock with horn arrangements, funky guitar licks, and wailing organ riffs. As winners of the emerging artist contest, they played the main stage at Red Ants Pants Music Festival last year, and will taking their show on the road in Summer '16. Recently they've been seen playing alongside acts such as Blitzen Trapper, the Cave Singers, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, the Gypsy Lumberjacks, the Black Lillies, the Heartless Bastards, and many more!

Fruit Juice
"My needs were met when Fruit Juice, a band of self-proclaimed “eccentric-pop” rockers from Olympia, took the stage. Not only do their songs feel like a cool, tasty glass of fruit juice, but the band must spend more money on glitter than any group I’ve seen in a decade. I liked the group’s music when I saw them perform roughly two years ago, but they have evolved by leaps and bounds since then. Jake McCaffray and Quillian Fennessy have perfected their catchy and harmonic vocal pop hooks; Gabriel Stranahan’s bass lines are jaunty and infectious; and the arrangements are tight, fun and always get even the stuffiest Seattleite to tap their toes. Topping it all off, new drummer Ron Plaja glues the project together with a relaxed and inspired set of beats that have greater depth and fluidity than the band’s earlier incarnation. He also smiles more than any drummer I’ve seen of late; it’s excellent to watch him have fun." -Frida Ray via Nadamucho.com

These People Here
Fractured, nocturnal eloquence, and brooding guitar harmonies define this Seattle-based, post-rock quintet. Layering in dynamic rhythms, complex time signatures, and passionate melodies, These People Here create an atmosphere both haunting and hopeful. Guitarists Rebecca Gutterman and Rian Turner initially bonded in late 2014, after discovering a mutual love for post-hardcore legends Rodan and intricate, interwoven guitar riffs. Aileen Paron, who played with Gutterman in the all-female Radiohead tribute band Pablo Honeys (voted Seattle Weekly’s “Best of Seattle: Cover Band” in 2014), brings her dreamy vocals, electronics, and heartbreaking poetics to the fold. Jen Fox’s bass and Thomas Edwards’ percussion provide intensity and interplay to punctuate a sprawling sonic landscape that will not disappoint.

Guest Directors
Guest Directors started as a casual side project between members of current Seattle bands The Navins, Mutiny Mutiny and These People Here. As collaborations turned into songs, long-time guitarists stepped up to singing roles and a sound started developing. Elements of post-shoegaze rock, dream pop, power pop, and noise all make an appearance, but the songs don’t fit easily in a specific genre. Sounds like: raindrops beating up evergreens. For fans of: spooky soulful music, guitar interplay, female vocals, effects pedals, fireflies, alien blips and elliptical distortion fog.

The Not-Its!
For more than seven years now, The Not-Its! have rocked kids and families with their up-tempo albums and live concerts that give children their first “rock show” experience. With the release of their sixth album, Are You Listening?, produced and engineered by John Goodmanson (Sleater-Kinney, Death Cab for Cutie, Blood Brothers), this Seattle “Kindie Rock” quintet will have children and their parents on their feet, screaming for more, from the moment they hit the dance floor! They are Sarah Shannon (former singer of 90’s Sub Pop band Velocity Girl), Danny Adamson (rhythm guitar), Tom Baisden (lead guitar), Jennie Helman (bass player) and Michael Welke (former drummer of Harvey Danger). As parents, they add 10 children to the crowd, ranging in ages 5-13. Since 2008 they have been poised to keep their families and yours dancing along at their live shows as well as to their recorded albums, and with their much anticipated sixth album, Are You Listening?, it is clear they have no intention of slowing down!
