Black Giraffe
Black Giraffe is a rock n’ soul band of proudly nerdy awkward people. Andy Ayers was always a fan of the one guy dancing like no one’s watching in a crowd full of self-conscious people seemingly trapped in the tiny town from footloose. Black Giraffe was formed with the goal of turning everyone in the crowd into Kevin Bacon by mixing Soul, R&B, rock, afrobeat, and any rhythm that moves people with an experimental pop palette. Press “Single by single, we’ve followed along as Andy and Don Ayers, the brothers behind Black Giraffe, developed their sound. After a year of intermittent shows and recording sessions, they’re ready to release their debut—and it’s worth the wait. Drunk Tank Pink fills a void in Seattle’s crowded music scene: slick rock ’n’ soul with equal parts groove and intellect, ambition and ability, landing somewhere between the Foster the People and the Black Keys. More than most young bands in town, these guys are ready for prime time.” City Arts, March 2015 “This pair of brothers have been cranking out nimble, hard-charging indie-R&B (IR&B?) since about this time last year. “Right Back” is their latest, showing even greater polish and precision than their previous work and previewing their sophomore LP, reportedly to arrive early next year.” City Arts, January 2015

Madness Blooms
Madness Blooms is an indie duo hovering at the intersection of folk, pop, and rock. Their unique, memorable sound blends lush vocal harmonies with full-voiced acoustic tracks and electronic beats; rich, strong bass supports it all. The group had its origins in a recurring open mic night that Bradford King used to run in a bookstore. Meghan Sinoff, pathological bibliophile, came for the books, but stayed (and returned again and again) for the music. Often one of them would jump in to sing harmony while the other was performing. From the bliss of their joined voices, and in mutual admiration of each other’s songwriting, they formed Madness Blooms.

Modiv
Tony Christensen is a well-rounded artist born and raised in the Northwest music scene. Christensen, also known as Modiv (pronounced motive), has been writing lyrics and poetry for most of his life. His music is a reflection of the challenges life has presented and how he overcomes them daily. While his records are fun and easy listening, the deeper messages are heart felt and raw. His music is predominantly Hip Hop/Rap, but he is known to incorporate other genres into his music to keep a fresh sound.

Their line-up now includes two lead guitars, three lead singers, four brilliant songwriters, and one train-load of fun.
