M. Lui is a singer, guitarist and songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY but spends her summers touring California. She writes poetic and vocally powerful Neofolk songs. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, she has been performing, touring, and teaching for the past 9 years. She has played weddings, cocktail hours, billed band shows, house concerts, the UCSF children's hospital, kids birthday parties (ages 1-5), children's song circles, and a three day songwriting workshop for teens.

Citabria is an alternative rock band based out of San Jose, California. Formed in 2008, the band’s debut EP, The Stereo Guillotine, was released in 2010 and immediately started gaining recognition locally, as well as overseas. The Stereo Guillotine was sold on several of Germany’s top online music distribution sites and also made it possible for the band to perform in Portugal for their version of American Idol. The following year, Citabria won a gold medal for the Your Music Olympicks Battle of the Bands. Citabria has opened for acts such as Awolnation at the San Diego IndieFest and The Limousines at the Left Coast Live music festival. It has also landed spots on the online music streaming sites Pandora, Spotify, and iTunes. In 2013, the band managed to raise a $6,000 Kickstarter campaign to fund the recording of its full-length album, Exit Reality. The LP was recorded at Jingle Town Records (owned by the band Green Day) and was released in early 2015.

Busy Lighthouse is a band from the Bay Area in California consisting of Jesús Rico (Vocals/Guitar), Isaiah Selva (Bass Guitar), Drake Freeman (Lead Guitar) and Josh Zucker (Percussion). The members each have a very unique and diverse taste in music which helps to influence their unique sound. Busy Lighthouse produces music that spans from varying genres such as alternative, hard rock, progressive, and experimental and the list goes on.

The music of Mothers Fathers Sisters Brothers focuses on the cycles of gain and loss, happiness and sadness that flow through our lives. The songs were written after the loss of a relationship and a reevaluation of what it means to lead a fulfilling life. I realized that we all have a circle of responsibility and we choose how far we want to extend it. How far can we push this boundary? Can we include each other? This project is a totem to remind me and hopefully others of the circles we draw, and to maintain the mindset that we are all mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers.
