Kid Wilderness is a dynamic Rock N' Roll trio that specializes in energetic original music. I started out playing piano in church and singing 3-part harmonies with my sisters. When I was about 12 years old, I was introduced to jazz and it changed my life. I joined the Marine Corps as a 5524 musician and served for two enlistments, first in Quantico and then in San Diego. During that time of service, I learned to play in a variety of musical styles including orchestral, jazz, funk, salsa, rock, pop, country, and a whole lot of military marches on bass drum and cymbals. I can play solo piano, piano with vocals, or with a group of local professionals. Let me know what size ensemble works best for you. I have two sisters who sing lead and harmonies; the three of us together can sing and improvise 3-part harmonies. Right now I'm a social worker in the Humboldt area. I am a father of two twin baby girls. I am passionate about music education as well, and I am open to teaching lessons online or in the local area.

Pat grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut. He took piano and drum lessons throughout elementary school and middle school. He started playing the guitar in the sixth grade. His major musical influences are Ben Harper, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, and Jack Johnson.

GigTown Artist of the Year 2016 and 2017 San Diego Music Awards "Best Singer-Songwriter" nominee Nina Francis is a versatile singer and an accomplished guitarist. Laced with undertones of pop, folk, and jazz, Nina's music blends timeless songwriting with modern sensibilities to create a sophisticated sound all her own. She is indeed “an artist to watch” (Bart Mendoza, Beach & Bay Press). In May 2014, the "promising young singer-songwriter" (George Varga, San Diego Union Tribune) received her Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California's groundbreaking "Pop Program" (as featured in Rolling Stone), the first of its kind at the conservatory level. At Thornton School of Music, Nina worked with Lamont Dozier (writer of multiple Motown hits by artists such as the Supremes and Marvin Gaye), Randy Newman, Glen Ballard (multiple Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer, notable credits including Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette and "Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson), Patrice Rushen, Glenn Frey (for whom she sang background vocals), and Melissa Manchester. Upon graduating, Nina moved to her hometown San Diego to build her career her way: at the grassroots level. She immediately began to “gig like a maniac” (Paul Hormick, San Diego Troubadour). In a little under three years, Nina has played 300+ shows including premier local venues Belly Up and Music Box. San Diego has quickly acknowledged Nina for her immense talent, passion, and unwavering work ethic. In May 2016, she landed a yearlong well attended monthly residency at San Diego’s most storied singer-songwriter venue Java Joe’s where artists like Jason Mraz and Jewel first got their big breaks. Local radio stations 91X and 94.9 have spun her single “Boomerang”. In April 2016, she was the cover girl for San Diego Troubadour magazine. She has opened for national acts such as Sammy Hagar, Tiffany, and Eagles of Death Metal for the 2017 Del Mar Racetrack Summer Concert Series. Nina is well on her way as an up-and-coming artist. Nina's debut full-length album Between Dreams is now available worldwide.

I am a solo artist, who sings and plays either guitar, keyboard, or ukulele. Also, I am lead singer with The High Strung Band, which may include 2 or more performers, however big or small you need the band (who sing harmonies and also play guitar, mandolin, bass, cajon, or harmonica). With both entities the songs that are performed are covers for an eclectic group of bands. Contemporary songs include those made popular by groups such as Coldplay, One Republic, Bruno Mars, Vance Joy, Sam Smith and many more. Originally hailing from the New Orleans area, Kurt Hunter now resides in Northwest Arkansas. Kurt has played music in over 35 states, and 5 countries. His songs have been featured in airplanes, movie theaters, and national television. His most known appearance to date is an Esurance commercial where he got "animated" by the team at Esurance. Kurt has released two full length albums and several singles. His music has also appeared on MTV's Teen Mom, Auction Kings, Delta Airlines, and NBC and Fox promotions. He describes his sound as a blend of Jason Mraz and James Taylor. Kurt is known for his upbeat and quirky personality and dynamic shows. His songs are instantly singable, and will quickly make their way into your daily playlists. He began playing guitar at 13, and singing at the age of 17 when he met the internationally acclaimed Young Americans. He became a part of the group in 1997 and toured with them as a performer, a sound engineer, and a director. Kurt has also performed on Norwegian Cruise Line's ship "Epic". Kurt is currently working on his third and fourth studio release.

My original music is a blend of latin percussive soul, hip hop beats, warm silky vocals and good energy! I am a good listener/watcher and feed off of YOU, delivering what you are after, with a smile and an open heart. I have been playing music professionally, and have been writing & performing my original music for over 20 years. I moved to San Diego from Florida in Feb. 2014 and have hit the ground running, making a name for myself and enjoying the beautiful musical community of the west coast. As a soloist, I can play weddings, house parties, wineries, restaurants, special events, yoga classes, outdoor music festivals/events, corporate events...whatever you have in mind! I am very versatile in my music. My covers range from 70's to current top 40 as well as a little country and even a couple rap songs. My diverse collection of covers makes me a good fit for just about anything from high energy venues to low key intimate settings. My repertoire also includes a selection of originals that I can mix into any set as fits. My equipment is all top of the line to create exceptional sound quality. I've played all different kinds of venues, around San Diego and across the nation, and am well practiced in picking the right tunes to fit the crowd and getting them engaged. I've recently returned to San Diego for a while from an ongoing national tour in which I am promoting my album which came out this earlier this year.

We have plenty of original songs from three albums (which you can find on iTunes or Spotify if you'd like) and can also do a bunch of covers to fit your venue and style from bands like: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, The War on Drugs, The Beatles, REM, The Black Keys, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Killers, Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, The Eagles and much more! It starts with energy. pure, raw, irreducible energy. Its source is undefined. its destination, unknown. But it is here, and you feel it now. An opportunity has presented itself. A chance to tap into something greater, something beyond comprehension yet engrained in consciousness. Intangible, yet palpable. It flows like liquid, like electricity, like time. Continuous and effortless, it is both always moving and ever present. Connecting the spirits among us. Conserving the beauty around us. Contesting the walls in front of us. We are Grim Slippers. Will (guitar), Brennan (drums), and Eric (keyboard/trumpet) all grew up in Carlsbad, CA. During middle school, the trio formed a close friendship from their shared passion for music. During lunch breaks and after class, they would often listen to records from The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Soon, the three set-up a jam-space in Brennan's father's living room, and began practicing covers of their favorite songs such as "Roadhouse Blues" and "Hey Joe". Throughout high school and college, the musical palette of the soon-to-be-slippers continuously expanded. During his junior year at Harvey Mudd College, Brennan lived in a room called "Subatomic," which provided the entire West Dorm with great music, at loud volumes, from approximately 10am until 4am. During this time, Eric was serving as a missionary in Recife, Brazil, where he discovered a new world in street performers, and Will was living in a single apartment in Long Beach, where he constantly wrote and composed. After college, the three formed Grim Slippers, and almost immediately created their distinctly fresh, innovative sound. By combining elements of rock, funk, blues, and perhaps most notably, EDM, the three crafted songs that sound unlike any that exist today, and yet somehow feel familiar. Following in the footsteps of classic influences Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Doors, and modern inspirations Moon Hooch and Hiatus Kaiyote, Grim Slippers brush aside labels of genre and style to create space for music that is completely unique. Born and raised in San Diego, Lisa Campbell has been part of the San Diego music scene for over 14 years. Her folk-rock guitar playing and wide-ranging vocals cover genres from the 70's to current. "I am everyone's playlist, so I am told." Lisa can play hundreds of popular cover tunes by memory, without the use of an iPad or music stand. She also doesn't use a set list. "I like to look at my audience and determine what they might like." Think James Taylor to Foo Fighters and everything in-between. She only requires one electrical outlet and set-up and break-down take 5 minutes. "Bars, restaurants, weddings, private events/parties…I enjoy them all."
