Peter B. Seltser
Peter’s performing career started at an early age, when he was just six years old, appearing on the Community Auditions television show in Boston, MA. Since then, Peter began delighting audiences on the East Coast, and now brings much joy to audiences on the West Coast and every place in between.
Peter resides in Carlsbad, CA, and entertains on an almost daily basis, performing 400+ shows a year. Both with his guitar and sultry voice, he brings joy and happiness to audiences everywhere with songs from the Great American Songbook, the turn of the century, all the way up to those Oldies But Goodies…and a few originals here and there.
Peter began his journey of singing to the seniors some four years ago, when a drummer liked one of his original tunes, and asked him to deliver a singing telegram to his girlfriend, who worked in a local retirement community. Peter arrived with his guitar, performed the song, the recipient cried, the staff, administrator and the activity director loved it, and the rest is history.
That was the start of Peter’s music career of performing at senior facilities. His career has expanded to playing to audiences of all ages and all sizes, such as at social and corporate events and parties, 55+ communities, farmer’s markets, open mic nights, house concerts, and even, the House of Blues.
Peter has been highlighted and featured on many cable access television programs, and his music continues to be played on the Internet, as well as on the radio. In October of 2012, Peter was honored to be included in the San Diego Jewish Journal’s senior issue reflecting on individuals who spend a great deal of their lives making others smile.
