She has sung with her jazz group on The Queen Latifah show and has appeared as a comedian on The View, and at The Kennedy Center at the request of her idol and fairy godmother, Carol Burnett. In 2006, she gave birth to her accompanist, Dexter Patxi who is also an aspiring model. They enjoy playing jazz standards as well as light pop and rock from the 60s and 70s. Occasionally, they throw in a contemporary tune which they have re-imagined.

Our group is called "The Munks (The Music Munks).” We are a San Diego based band that are known for blending old school Jazz with Funk and contemporary rock. We are all about good vibes playing great music and making sure the audience leaves happy! We can play in the foreground or background to fit any musical function. Hi There, we are a Trilingual Jazz duo playing tunes that are near and dear to peoples hearts but will always make them want to sway and swing! We are based out of San Diego! We are a duo but can expand the band to a quartet or more to tailor a show fit to your needs! This duo Features Irving Flores an accomplished pianist, composer, arranger, and music producer. Born in Veracruz, Mexico, Flores began his music studies at age 6 with organ. His father, Irving Flores Sr., was with the famed Orchestra Tampico, and it was from him, that young Irving began to learn saxophone and arranging. On one occasion, the Orchestra was surprised to discover that one of their arrangements was actually the work of the younger Irving Flores. While a teenager, Irving moved to Mexico City, switched to piano developing as a composer and arranger! Anais Lund is the lead singer for the duo! She has studied voice jazz, Classical and Pop Since she was seven performing in plays and recitals as a kid she grew up on stage! She studied music and Mesa College mastering her rich and unique sound! Since then she's been performing originals and covers all around San Diego County with the many bands she is a part of but her passion will always be jazz!
