Hello, we are Whimsy. A local band out of San Diego looking to spread joy through our music. Whimsy brings a unique sound with instruments like ukulele, electric guitar, violin, and more! We play mostly original songs, but throw in a few fun covers every once in awhile. The coolest thing about the band is seeing how close everyone is. It creates a chemistry you can feel on and off the stage. We love playing music, and we would be honored to perform at your next event! BREAKING NEWS: We are almost finished with our first EP! We hope to release this record by Winter of 2016.

We are an indie rock/experimental band from San Diego, California. Our music comes from a range of sounds from punk, ambient, indie, experimental, and blending themes found from existential philosophy. We write catchy, fuzzy songs you can dance and think to!

We are an indie-rock band that has been described as: This is some pretty swell lo-fi slacker-rock, and I can’t help but think that, had it been heard by the right ears around the time it was recorded (2005, according to the CD sleeve), it would’ve gotten both local and national attention. If they’re not together anymore, then I’m thinking some reunion gigs are in order.

We play delay-ridden alternative rock.
