"This is one of those albums I could listen to all day long. This is absolutely the Real Deal."-Bill Wilson, Reflections In Blue
"This set never let's you down. Solid stuff throughout."-Midwest Record Review.
CB plays a primitive, tough, bare knuckle electric blues, born in the middle of the last century. Played on vintage instrumentation, whether solo or with his talented band made up of top San Diego blues musicians, CB is able to explore and take risks with his catalogue of original material and traditional blues. Mixing obscure songs, distinctive covers and party songs with his original material entertain all ages crowds in most any setting. Sometimes his sound is more uptown Chicago and sometimes Southern Delta or Texas, but in an intimate setting it’s more juke joint than ballroom. His live blues performances are organic, situational, and distinct. No two shows are alike, and with his personality the crowd is always entertained.
2018 is going to be a big year of CB, and early bookings are encouraged to lock in the date. Thanks for reviewing!
