Stringed Migration
Stringed Migration is a Portland, OR, based quartet that performs a lush synthesis of Celtic and international roots music with hints of jazz. Comprised of four multi-instrumentalists whose individual careers have garnered regional, national and international recognition, Stringed Migration is enjoying a rapidly growing reputation in the Northwest folk world. The band features a cast of musicians whose diverse backgrounds touch upon Latin music, Balkan music, Americana, rock, Mediæval music, classical Indian music, Western classical music, and jazz, yet all have deep roots in traditional Irish and Scottish fare. “The idea,” says founder Elizabeth Nicholson, “is to allow everyone in the band to draw from the full spectrum of their experience, rather than conforming to a rigidly defined idiom.” The resulting sound pays true homage to the American melting pot, revealing technical mastery, nuance, spontaneity and heart. Stringed Migration is: Elizabeth Nicholson on vocals, harps, and guitar; Eddie Parente on violin and viola; Bob Soper on bouzouki, fiddle, vocals and guitar; and Rob Barrick on double bass and Scottish smallpipes.

Shoring
Shoring has been touring the Western US since 2016- wowing audiences with their dynamic live performances, unique yet accessible sound, and strong songwriting. Shoring combines the best elements of Singer / Songwriter (narrative, focused storytelling) with the excitement that only a true four piece Rock and Roll band can bring. Their debut, self-titled album opens with "Holding Me Down", a post-mortem of American Dream Plan A. What follows is a collection of songs about hope and love and optimism, interspersed with songs about fear, lament, guilt, and uncertainty. Album closer "Every Moment We Delay" is a subtle call to action; American Dream Plan A has already fallen apart. Now what? Do what you love, do what you do best, wholeheartedly.

Michael Howard
Michael Howard is a songwriter born and raised in the wilds of Alaska. The philosopher and poet John O'Donohue said that the outer landscape of the land that we live in is reflected in our inner landscape of the soul and then reflected back out in the life of the music from a region. Michael Howard’s music is the shape of the Alaskan landscape. As an up and coming songwriter touring the country nonstop following the national release of “The Martyr and the Magician” (2015, Independent), he has quickly gained a reputation as a timeless storyteller in the tradition of the American folk singer, and critics regularly compare his unique voice to great artists such as Cat Stevens and Neil Young. "Howard's voice is so different sounding, he’s transportive, it’s a crafted thing of remarkable beauty, a record for a sunny moment in one breath, the next your darkest hour...“You feel its greatness, it feels important...it’s so difficult to write words to qualify how good, how vital this record is." "9 out of 10" - AmericanaUK album review (July, 2015). Prior to purusing music full time, Michael spent years as a community organizer and activist in his hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. You will hear these influences and the themes of society, politics and religion in his deeply compelling songwriting. In his short career, Michael has been selected as a regional finalist in the NPR Mountain Stage Radio Show NewSong national songwriting competition, and he has received multiple awards, including the prestigious Individual Artist Award from the Rasmuson Foundation in Alaska. Michael has supported other acclaimed songwriters including Jeffrey Martin and Samantha Crain. His second national release entitled “Gasoline Dream” is set to hit the airwaves in September, 2016 followed by national touring.
