Train River is a collective of amateur bluegrass musicians in Portland, OR led by guitarist/mandolinist Jeffree White. The repertoire includes many traditional bluegrass numbers and fiddle tunes, along with more modern additions which have become standards -- tunes by Old & In the Way, David Grisman, and Phish -- and some nonbluegrass surprises thrown in for fun and variety. Jeffree, like many other new bluegrass fans, discovered the music through the Grateful Dead and offshoot bands, and contemporary jamgrass bands. Twisted Blue – The Band hails from the Pacific Northwest’s Portland Metro area. They think of themselves as a Rockabilly Blues Band with an edgy twist. At their live shows, you can expect to hear chart-topping cover songs and original hits. Every performance is filled with high energy that will rock your world. The guys have been playing for various bands for over 30 years. Each member brings their own unique style to the group which offers a dynamic not seen with most bands.

I play solo douçaine, a rare and beautiful medieval oboe. The sound is at once exotic, but accessible. Great for intimate occasions, I also play in duos, trios and quartets with string players and singers. My repertory varies from medieval, traditional, and world music to familiar jazz and popular standards. The stated rate is per person.

Fox and Bones is a conceptual folk collaboration between American songwriters Sarah Vitort and Scott Gilmore based in Portland, Oregon. Both artists in their own rite (Sarah Wild and The Watch, Just People), the pair had an instant spark when they met, which quickly translated to an electric songwriting chemistry that has been compared to that of power folk duo Scarlett and Gunnar on the hit TV series "Nashville". The duo, who's music has been called "addictive like peanut butter" by European music blog Rockette, combines lush two part harmonies and a complex, heartwarming lyrical landscape with soft-spoken yet rich musical accompaniment. Live, they draw their audience in with their quirky banter and adorable onstage chemistry, creating - and inspiring in their fans - an archetype for true love in the modern world. The duo released their debut, self titled 5-song EP in August, 2017 to critical acclaim. Chris Young (Vortex Music Magazine) calls their first single "Warm" “Intimate, delicate ... a soft, beautiful, harmony-rich salvo” and describes their second single "Gravity" as "countrified, in the best possible way...the lyrics share deep thoughts while discovering essential connections with another and the universe." They are currently in the studio recording their full length album with Justin Phelps (Cake, The Mars Volta) at the Hallowed Halls in Portland, OR. They are currently on a month long European tour spanning Germany, Austria and Switzerland in support of the new EP, which will be followed by a nationwide US tour in early 2017.
