Kenzie is a twenty-three-year-old soulful singer, songwriter and self-taught musician born and living in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. She has had a love for music ever since she was 5 years old, and at age eleven, picked up the guitar and began playing. Since 2011, She has performed for quite a variety of events and venues throughout the valley such as-- the Hard Rock Cafe, on the Verde Canyon Railroad, for Phoenix Fashion Week, and numerous private events including weddings and high school proms. Kenzie has a passion to follow her dream of music, with hopes of leaving impressions to encourage and inspire. Her desire is to use her education, experience and love of music, in such a way that will help to make a difference in the lives of others. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi there, I’m Kenzie! I am a solo singer and musician. I play the acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, and sing. I mainly play cover songs, but I do have a few originals that I pull out every now and then. I perform and cover everything from current pop hits to the classics of the past. I love singing all kinds of different songs and genres and putting my soulful twists on them all. I have an extensive setlist and I am always adding more as I go along--taking requests from everyone. My goal is to have a great big setlist, full of all kinds of genres and styles of music, so that people of all ages can enjoy! I have two different sound systems that I use and switch out depending on the venue and size of audience. For larger crowds or venues, I have two QSC K8 speakers and a mixer that I use. The QSC K8 speakers are 1000 watts each and the maximum sound pressure level is 127dB. For smaller venues, I use my Bose L1 Compact System speaker. The Bose system is 200 watts and the maximum sound pressure level is 106 dB. The Bose is perfect for smaller venues, such as restaurants, coffee shops and farmer’s markets. Since I was 15, I have been performing at different venues and events throughout the valley. To list a few--I’ve performed at Bookman’s, The Hard Rock Café, The Wigwam, Paradise Lounge, Harold’s Corral, Eddie V’s, Cucina Tagliani, Elevate Coffee Company, the Peoria Sport’s Complex, Arrowhead Country Club, and many more! Along with these venues, I have performed for numerous events such as the Women’s Expo at the Phoenix Convention Center, Rhythm on the Rails for the Verde Canyon Railroad, Phoenix Fashion Week, Girl Scout events, and for both Ironwood’s and Centennial’s Senior Prom at the Glendale Civic Center.

He maintains a rigorous touring and speaking schedule, traveling the galaxy to entertain and educate through the gift of rhyme.

I've been playing music, in and out of bands, for 30+ years. Starting in the late 80's in and around the S.F. Bay Area until I moved to the Phoenix area in 2004. Once in Phoenix, I entered and won a handful of acoustic battle of the band(s) to secure some regular gigs and have "worked" steadily, all over the valley, ever since. Playing solo, I've developed a very percussive style of acoustic playing and employ looping as well as a harmonizer to give a fuller sound to my music. Always fun to listen to with over 300 songs in my repertoire in the Rock/Pop/Country genres (and more being added all the time) and being able to finagle my way through sometimes obscure requests make for a great time for the crowds!!!
