Francis Larson is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter raised in the desert of Arizona who specializes in live-looping to provide a full band sound during gigs as a solo performer. After classical training with the Grammy Award-winning Phoenix Boys Choir, he cut his teeth busking in over 40 countries and collecting anecdotes from rain-soaked Normandy, beach towns of New Zealand, winters in northern Minnesota, foggy islands of South Korea, and eclectic ruin bars of Budapest. He writes music that vacillates between heartland Americana rock with a 90s flair to contemporary takes on the traditional folk song with minimalistic arrangements and a cappella vocals to let the stories shine through, as if 70s-era Jackson Browne fronted the Counting Crows but spent his formative years purposefully getting lost backpacking Europe and reading untranslated foreign literature past midnight. Recently, he works as a solo guitarist on cruise ships with a repertoire of over 450 songs from the 50s to today, in a wide range of styles and genres. After a year performing 4 hours a day, 6 days a week, he has honed an ability to read audience needs and cater the mix of songs to the vibe of the listeners, and has a list of classics to singalong to, pre-made sets (such as "Celtic songs", "Beach Vibes", "Emo Night", "Classic Rock", "One Hit Wonders", and "Dance Hits" etc.) ready to fit common needs for venues, as well as unique versions of popular songs to put a fresh spin on tunes we've heard before.

He was a invited to be a contestant on season 18 of American Idol, which is when he received an assertive 'Yes' from all 3 celebrity judges after performing an original song. Marcus’s new single, 'Butterflies', recently premiered on SIRIUS XM and was signed to Warner Music. In the recent years, Marcus has had several of his original songs aired on FM radio and Sirius XM, as well as magazine spreads featuring his story on music. He's been recognized by many US blogs for his unique sound and soulful songwriting ability. Marcus sings a variety of music, ranging from classics to modern day hits. He has played with World renowned, Napolian Murphy Brock, Chris Cain and Gary Smith and Jacob Scesney also Studied under Jesus Silver. Leroy has at least a 1000 songs in his catalog. From Holiday, Classical, Blues, Country, Easy Listening Rock and Grammy Award Winning Artists. From Bach, Muddy Waters, Steely Dan, Post Malone, Harry Stiles and Billie Elish.
