SUMMER OF LOVE BAND

Summer of Love is the 1960's '70s and '80s Rock 'n Roll Experience. More than a band that pays tribute to a single act but a tribute to the golden age of popular music. We absolutely love what we do and it shows! Summer of Love Band begins the evening with the 1960's Woodstock set of music with tie-dye outfits and music to match. Our second set features the influence of the 1970's "Disco generation" with authentic polyester-style outfits. The last set is our anything goes 1980's music and costumes!!! We have had only happy clients and our five star rating shows that. We are here to have a good time with you and entertain your people. Setup includes front and rear lighting and hazer effects with a dash of VW Buses on speakers and lava lamps, too! Light up the incense and get ready to ROCK!

Since October of 2013 Tommy Mitchell has been bringing his unique styling to classic songs from all eras. Using a loop pedal to create textures and accompaniment, Tommy's ever-evolving song list delivers familiar tunes with new, exciting arrangements. A true professional and amazing talent, Tommy has been playing the Wedding/Corporate/Private Party scene around San Diego with much of his work coming through word of mouth. With residencies at The Pony Room at the Rancho Valencia Resort in Rancho Santa Fe, The Laguna Cliffs Resort and Spa in Dana Point as well as many other gigs at high-end establishments, Tommy is no stranger to pleasing even the most discerning crowds. His repertoire of mostly 60s and 70s Classic Rock and Soul creates at fun, party atmosphere. I'm a singer and pianist playing glamorous vintage classics that audiences love to hear, along with my original music in the same style. My original music has been recognized with two San Diego Music Award nominations, and previous engagements include piano in the lobby of the historic Lafayette Hotel and singing with Hillcrest cabaret Blue Velvet. I am available for solo piano gigs, as well as full band gigs with my girl group The Joyelles. I specialize in 1960's pop, jazz standards, show tunes, and original music in these styles. I'm a great fit for any occasion where the music needs to complement the atmosphere, not overwhelm it.

Kingsland is a singer/songwriter and band leader. He has had Radio Play on Rock 105.3 FM and performed at some of the biggest venues in San Diego and Hawaii. He has led a full band for 10 years and has many varieties of musical styles including, acoustic rock, reggae, blues, spanish, funk, soul, cover songs, you name it. He lived in Hawaii in 2012 and toured with some big bands. He is honest, trustworthy, and keeps his word. 21 year-old Frank Cope is a singer/songwriter from Southern California. Lacy Younger (veteran Wordsmith) has been signed to two different labels over the years garnering a #1 hit in Europe and several Top 40 singles here in the U.S... nominated many times for awards as a songwriter/singer (California CMA, LA Music Awards and HMMA nominee, 2x San Diego Music Awards nominee..), the San Diego native is a 'crossover' queen, managing to fit nicely into rock-country and AC genre's.
