Formed in 1996, Nightshift has performed it's unique blend of classic and contemporary rock, funk, R&B and blues throughout San Diego County. Playing the hits of the Boston, Journey, Santana, Lynrd Skynrd , Michael Jackson , ZZ Top, Aretha Franklin and Pat Benatar to name just a few, plus lots of funk and R&B classics, the band is completely self-contained and able to provide several different configurations of its P.A. system to fit any size venue. QUARTET 5 is a 4-piece playing pop, rock, soul and jazz classics. Alexander Niles (lead vocals, keyboards), Nolan Murphy (tenor and baritone sax), Will Wildrick (bass) and Kyle Graham (drums and backing vocals). They are all 16, but this is not your average teen band. Musical director Dr. Richard Niles has worked with Paul McCartney, Ray Charles and James Brown. They have played at the Saban Theatre (LA), The Rose (Pasadena), The Coach House (San Juan Capistrano), The OC Fair and The House Of Blues (Anaheim), corporate functions (Flour) and private parties. They have supported Jefferson Starship, Herman's Hermits and Blood Sweat & Tears.Their show is entertaining fun played by four exceptional musical virtuosos!

We are a high-energy, eclectic rock band whose repertoire ranges from the the 50s to the present. Our specialty is medleys crafted to get guests onto the dance floor and keep them there. Our bandleader, Greg Douglass, was the guitarist for Steve Miller & Van Morrison, among many others, and he co-wrote the hit "Jungle Love" for Steve.
