Born and raised in Encinitas, California, Rhian has been singing and performing in one or another since I was 2 years old. She is a talented singer-songwriter and keyboard and acoustic guitar player. Her music can be described as pop, indie, folk and Neo folk. She can also play a wide-range of covers from a variety of genres. Receiving the national Quincy Jones Musicianship Award, at the age of 16, Rhian was recognized by the San Diego Union Tribune for her original song, “A War That Can’t Be Won” which gained nationwide attention. Rhian always makes a connection with her audience and has been told over and over what an impact she has with her music. Rhian performs both originals and covers and has been performing all over San Diego County since she was 14 years old. She has also performed in Denver, Portland and Kauai. After graduating from the Grauer School in Encinitas, Rhian was accepted at California Institute of the Arts where she will graduate in May with a BFA in Music and VoiceArts Performance and minor in Music Theory. A singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Rhian can provide her own instruments and sound.
