Reggie Garrett has been performing throughout the Western U.S. and Canada for many years performing mostly original songs mixed with pop covers and traditional folk ballads. His music is quite diverse tapping into urban acoustic Folk music, Gospel, Latin rhythms, Blues, Celtic and many other forms. He performs both solo and with his group Reggie Garrett & the SnakeOil Peddlers. Since its inception the band has carved out its own unique sound. Through the years the music changed, gradually shifting towards a hybrid with both acoustic and electric instrumentation. RG&SOP perform both as a quartet and an acoustic trio giving audiences an experience both subtle and complex. This amazing ensemble includes Reggie Garrett (vocals/acoustic guitar), Richard Middleton (acoustic/electric guitars & keyboards), Will Dowd (drums/percussion) with the addition of Keith Lowe (bass) for the quartet, The sound has strong rhythmic underpinnings, beginning with Garrett’s almost percussive guitar style. His singing reflects the folk/ rock/gospel traditions with which he grew up. He has been compared to acoustic legends Richie Havens and Bill Withers by the national folk publication Dirty Linen. As a songwriter Garrett’s specialty is creating and enhancing a mood. Formed in 2016, Blue Light is a female-fronted band that pulls together the talent and experience of four life-long musicians playing in the San Diego area for decades in different bands. We came together to form Blue Light because we all also love funky blues that rock! We are Abandoned Stereo, a local San Diego Trio formed in the Spring of 2016, made up of Brandon Joshua (Guitar/Vox) Caelob Grabowski (Bass/Vox) and Bernie Kremer Spanjian (Drums). Abandoned Stereo originated as Singer Songwriter Brandon Joshua searched around for other musicians to collaborate and thus form what we are today. First he met Bernie Kremer one of Germanys finest drummers who had recently moved to states after touring around Europe in his than band at the time. Shortly after they had reached out to Caelob Grabowski who was bouncing around filling in for other bands bassists and after a few weeks they had 13 total songs and were ready to take it to the next level and play out.
