Having started their gigging career supporting Mercury darlings Metronomy, Devon-based three-piece These Reigning Days have quickly established a reputation as a formidable live act. Tyler Colt is a young Rock/Alt/Pop singer/songwriter with a musical background in guitar, bass, and drums. This multi-faceted experience, all before finishing high school, brings a unique view to his music. While he has acted in numerous movies, TV, commercials, and music videos, his passion is music. Tyler was five when he began taking lessons. He studied with Monty Pittman, guitarist for Madonna and Ministry. While he enjoys all genres of music, Tyler’s passion is rock. His influences include Slash, Jimi Hendrix, and Dave Grohl. Tyler has played numerous venues with his band, including The Whisky-a-GoGo in Hollywood, Progressive Motorcycle Show Long Beach, The Lobster Festival at Redondo Beach, St. Rocke Hermosa Beach and The Long Beach Convention Center. Crowd/Theory's expansive song list not only includes the greatest in alternative music but also Top 40s, dance hits, ad classics from a catalog of sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties music. Crowd/Theory's traditional rock lineup is seasoned with eclectic instrumentation including saxophone, xylophone mandolin, double bass, and more. The band is diversely rehearsed to play as a duo, trio, or quartet as well, making them a perfect fit for many occasions. When hired, the band's primary aim is to provide a high-octane, unforgettable experience, complimented by their unique sense of style and their energetic stage personas.
