Sam uses guitar, vocals, and backing tracks (MacBook). He performed with the San Diego band Steam Powered Giraffe for 7 years and gained skills on entertaining and performing to large audiences. Now with new talents from traveling with a popular band he’s inspired to return to his roots and bringing back samhears with his new album titled "Bring Your Own Brick". He has been performing samhears for 10 years.

The Gravities​: a three-piece power/funk band from San Diego California. We offer an intimate show experience with music that ranges from soul groove, blues, roots, and funk. We play shows as a unit and serve as a backing band. Founder, Isaac Guerra, serves as lead vocals and plays the drums, Co-Founder, Samuel Pierce is guitarist and back up vocalist. Together we have written and arranged all original music and tunes. Going on 8 years strong as a band unit, The Gravities are most certainly a force to be reckoned with. We’ve played venues all over the West Coast including The Whiskey A-Go-Go (Hollywood, CA), House of Blues (San Diego, CA), Real Art (Tacoma, WA), and many more. With a funk-soul sound; a true powerhouse band, we are here to get you moving and keep you grooving!

This is my band from the late 80's, early 90's. I am currently doing some shows with this band in the LA area. I'm not opposed to booking a few more shows since this is a really fun band with fun songs. This is a glam rock band and the music is pop/ rock.
