I'm a singer/songwriter using music as a bridge to bring people together, leading sing-alongs and performing my originals in a variety of venues, including benefit concerts for social issues. (French, folk repertoire as well). I would like to continue my music and social justice outreach both individually and collectively through writing, recording, and performing.

I'm a singer-songwriter with a solid stage presence whose sound is a blend of David Bowie meets Lou Reed meets some Bob Dylan, for good measure. I give it a modern take by being a true original through my oftentimes breezy and eclectic sound and unique lyrical style. You can count on me to play mix of covers--both popular and obscure--along with my original songs that listeners enjoy and want to hear more of. On top of my musical leanings and professional day job as a content manager in the sound/audio space, I'm a fiction writer, screenwriter and poet with an MFA from the low-residency program at the University of California-Riverside. We are a DJ Duo originally from Louisville, KY. We moved to Los Angeles to be more involved in the music scene and grow ourselves as artists. We have releases with Wulfpack, a Los Angeles based record label and DJ collective. RJ Comer is a Los Angeles city boy and storyteller with the backwaters of Americana and Blues running through his veins. He started out singing in church and around the campfire, but ended up in a lot of bad places at wrong times. From downtempo gritty songs that cut deep with self-deprecating humor and jagged memories to upbeat songs that swagger even when they swing, RJ's music is both meaningful and entertaining. RJ has toured as a solo artist from Canada to deep in the American south--including a 5-week run in New Orleans. His powerful voice, his captivating and emotional live performances, and his infectious songs have garnered fans in biker bars, on Bourbon Street, and in coffee houses and concert halls.
