Stereo Cities is a Los Angeles based Party Covers Show. Comprised of 4 ex-touring musicians from Australia, The Philippines and The United States, Stereo Cities has stamped their mark on the SoCal bar and club scene as a high energy, enjoyable and adaptable party rock show. We are known for covering bands such as Foo Fighters, Goo Goo Dolls, Creedence Clearwater Revival, ACDC, Neon Trees, Walk the Moon, The Killers, The Darkness, Third Eye Blind, Incubus, Jet, Kings of Leon and Matchbox 20 to name a few. Our past experiences have included our singer touring with the Vans Warped Tour and our guitarist from Australia who recently finished up shows with AEG as a part of their Mid-West Tour circuit with such bands as Slash, The Darkness, Papa Roach and Alice In Chains, among many others. Stereo Cities is a non-stop, high energy, entertaining time warp, performing hits from the last 30 years!

I write, record, and perform fun songs about science, history, math, etc... if you remember Schoolhouse Rocks from the 1970's you'll have the idea. Although most of my music is aimed primarily at kids in kindergarten through eighth grade, I work hard to make it fun for grownups too. I perform on guitar and piano, usually solo but sometimes with a small band. My services are free for schools and other places of learning, but I often do shows for geeky grownups as well.

Paying tribute to the unmistakable sound and look of Missing Persons of the 1980s. In the early 80s, they took the world by storm. With their New Wave Rock sound, it combined the genre's electronic foundations with real musicianship. Plus, they looked cool! Molly Vamp is a classic new wave of gothic Heavy Metal formed in the fall of 2009. Molly Vamp on lead vocals/ guitar, Billy Blade on Bass, Angie Vamp on drums. The band performs all original material with a few covers. Based in Pomona/ Ontario the band has performed at the Whisky, Roxy, and other places in Southern California.

Interesting, dynamic pianist, guitarist and singer, Tim has a varied repertoire which includes much loved songs from the Great American Song Book and tasty selections from various contemporary artists. He brings a command of piano and guitar styles in his performances, which make for an eclectic listening experience. Dreamy ballads, jazzy blues, folk, bits of country and world music, are performed with humor and taste.

The San Diego-based musician's unique brand of Brazilian acoustic melds rock, reggae and blues, and his versatility allows him to move seamlessly across genres while staying true to his personality. Already a mainstay in the San Diego Brazilian music and culture scene, Monari has toured all over the world with his passion for music, love and life. He plays a mix of cover and original work, singing both in English and Portuguese.

My repertoire is comprised of Jazz Standards from the great American songbook and pop tunes from the 60s through the present. I was born in the late 1970s so I tend to focus on pop tunes from the 80s and 90s. I've played since I was 5 and have a lot of professional experience from being a military musician. John Torres is a songwriter, recording artist and vocalist who has been making music for close to 30 years. A native of Los Angeles, California, his work has spanned a wide range of genres and styles, from indie, folk, and singer-songwriter, to opera and musical theater. As a songwriter, John has received numerous honors including a John Lennon Songwriting Award, an L.A Stage Alliance Ovation Award, and nominations by the American Independent Music Awards and Stage Raw Theater Awards. His collaboration on the song “You Don’t Have To Be A Star” for the documentary “Fame High” was shortlisted for an Academy Award. In addition, his music has been featured on many T.V. shows and networks (such as MTV, ABC, NBC, TLC), as well as multiple short and feature length films. John has written over 300 songs to date, and has produced and co-produced hundreds of tracks, for both his own music, as well as for other artists. He’s the founding member of the indie folk band, Towers of Temple City. In 2019 Torres co-composed the music and lyrics to the now award winning musical theater adaptation of the 1980 Warner Bros film “Bronco Billy", which was nominated for 9 L.A. Stage Raw Awards (Including Original Music), and won 2 Ovation Awards (Including Lyrics/Composition for an Original Musical) John proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Bresee, a non-profit organization in the heart of Los Angeles, dedicated to fighting poverty by empowering youth and families with the skills, resources and relationships necessary to thrive. In 2022, John will release his 5th album, “Shelter in Places,” written and produced entirely himself, during the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Yakub Saputra is an experienced classically-trained Jazz and Contemporary Pianist. He has been performing for over 7 years in jazz and fusion scenery playing in in solo format, duet, trio, all the way to big band. Besides Jazz, he enjoys playing all kinds of music from Pop, Gospel, RnB, Afro-Cuban, and Salsa. He enjoy playing in solo acoustic and traditional sounding environment as well as in a fusion/funk realm. Besides live performance, He has been dedicated to music production for singer-songwriter and composing for media skewed to an Orchestral sounding. Last November, I was producing, arranging, and playing for my very own Christmas Jazz album that will be published in 2015 Holiday Season. I will also be going on a 12-days tour to Bermuda with HTG Band, a jazz fusion ensemble, this coming August 2015.

Hello there! I am super friendly and very flexible. Music is my absolute passion so I put a great amount of time and energy into being the best professional percussionist I could possibly be! As far as experience... I started my formal education and performance as a marching percussionist, eventually extending myself to perform and work with various groups such as jazz bands, choirs, symphony orchestras, and percussion ensembles. I soon earned the opportunity to travel with my high school symphony orchestra and wind ensemble to New York City and perform in the prestigious Carnegie Hall! At 18, I began working as a coach, teaching music to high school marching bands, drumlines, and percussion ensembles. After teaching for two years I began my career as a Professional Studio Percussionist. Currently I play drums and percussion in my own personal band as well as a few singer/ songwriters all based in San Diego.

My songs encourage literacy and teach rhyme, patterns, synonyms, sentence structure, songwriting, movement and the intellectual power of asking questions. My mantra: keep learning because the world needs smart people. I have performed over 140 shows in schools, museums, festivals, parties, farmers markets, and libraries for audiences as small as 30 and as many as 300.
