M.O.O.K. Dollas
Mook was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 27, 1988. His father is african american and was sentenced 25 to life for armed robbery when Mook was only 4. His mother is african american as well. Due to his father being incarcerated at a young age, Mook was raised by his mother, and grandmother. Mook started rapping at the age of 10, becoming serious about it at the age of 12 when he recieved his first cd player and a copy of Ludacris' first cd, Back for the first time. Mook grew up in a prodominently african american environment. His childhood revolved around his love for music. He attended Brooklyn High School of the Arts and decided to play baritone for the concert band. His last year of high school he moved to Cassatt, SC in 2005 and attended North Central High School in Kershaw County. Mook eventually graduated from high school in 2006. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2007 and put his rapping career on hold. 4 more years had passed before he got back into rapping again. In 2011, he was stationed in Garden City, NY and decided to take his music career to the next level. Mook built his own in home studio and began recording. In that very same year, Mook recorded and released 5 mixtapes (As If..., If Only...., Ur Girls Fav Rapper, BeastMode and Mook & Friends Vol 1) by the end of the year. Unsatisfied with the results, he began working on his next tape which he knew for a fact would be his greatest piece. July 3, 2012 Mook released Mook & Friends II: The Real. This mixtape included all original music which showed off the artist's true passion for his music. That very next year,July 21st 2013 which was actually his daughters 1st birthday, Mook dropped another mixtape entitled M.O.O.K. (Motivation On Over Kill). Mook is currently working on his next project entitled: Do The Right Thing, Mook; loosely based off of the famous Spike Lee Movie and his life.

I am lyrical and have been asked to do multie encores. The crowd tends to gage my music and by the time the 3rd chorous comes around the audience is usually singing along. I have already performed at some pretty well known Philly venues such as Kung fu Neck Tie, biurban and branch, voltage lounge as well as a few ot of state performances as well.
