Dirk Quinn Band
We're a high energy funk/jazz band based out of Philadelphia that travels as a 4-piece (guitar, bass, drums, and keys).
As seasoned touring professionals, we have been fortunate enough to play some of the best venues and events in North America including:
Bear Creek Music Festival
Live Oak, Florida
The Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall
Brooklyn Academy of Music
Brooklyn, New York
Big Rock Music Festival
Port Dover, Ontario
Smith's Olde Bar
Rochester Jazz Festival
Rochester, New York
Museum of Contemporary Art
North Miami, Florida
Music City Brewers' Festival
We also perform lower volume/acoustic shows (complete with hand percussion in lieu of a full drum kit, if requested!) for more intimate spaces/vibes!

"Fleet-fingered Philadelphia-based guitarist Dirk Quinn could be the illegitimate son of Jeff Beck, although his fiery electric work is firmly rooted in jazz and, in the context of his band, it's allayed with insistent, funky grooves to create a brilliantly lava-laden form of electric fusion.
To put it another way: THIS GUY IS SMOKIN'" - Connect Savannah
"Always keeping the audience on its feet, DQB manages to captivate the hearts of the crowd, while providing a thoroughly concise dissertation on the possibilities for music in our current age."
