Dentist is an Asbury Park based Indie Rock band whose infectious sound straddles the worlds of surf, punk, and pop. Based on the strength of the band’s 2014 self-titled release, Dentist has received positive press from a variety of different outlets like Pandora Blog, The Asbury Park Press, The Aquarian Weekly, Jersey Beat and many others. The band has played extensively in the northeast and shared the stage with a variety of national acts like Jeff the Brotherhood, Laura Stevenson, Television, Screaming Females and many more. Dentist has begun to branch out and extend their reach through touring. In early 2016, Dentist will be releasing their second full length. Dentist is: Emily Bornemann, Justin Bornemann, Nick Kaelbein, and Rudy Meier.

Picture the color periwinkle blue spray painted by a Ramone, add blistering vocals with traces of Southern soul, and a David Byrne sense of showmanship and you get the boobies. With half the band hailing from North Carolina, and the other half from Texas, these fetching Southern boys came together to form a garage-pop four-piece with some serious teeth. Equipped with surf-rock inspired riffs, slick lyrics, and savage attitude, the boobies are set to tear venues apart.

World Music children’s performer DARIA (Daria Marmaluk-Hajioannou) has spent the last two decades performing in the USA and around the world, creating music to inspire all the world’s children. Along with national awards for her culturally diverse music, Daria’s website (www.dariamusic.com) was given a 2009 Parent’s Choice Award and offers many great resources for teachers, parents and kids of all abilities. Along with her popular versions of favorite world music songs, Daria’s “I Have A Dream” Song is used widely in the USA to celebrate MLK Day. Her Earth Day anthem “We’ve Got The Whole World In Our Hands” is used in the US as well as in Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. Her “Beautiful Rainbow World” song is used in Australia as part of a “Respecting Others” curriculum for preschoolers as well as in South African schools as part of a “Teach Tolerance” initiative. Daria’s live show is fully interactive as she brings a variety of exciting world traditions to life, allowing children to become a part of the celebration and the fun.
