John Lee Sanders
Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and Emmy nominated composer, John Lee Sanders comes from the deep roots of jazz, blues and roots music through his early years in the Mississippi Delta, Alabama, the Bayous of Louisiana, and The plains of Texas. John Lee has a universal gift to reach audiences from a broad and diverse musical spectrum.
With blues at the core, he has evolved a complex musical gumbo, with the flavors of Cajun, Rock, Gospel, Pop, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Country, classical, with a deep love of the traditions, and culture of New Orleans.

I perform solo, piano vocal, travel with a great Bose L1 sound systems for small to medium size clubs. I frequently perform with a 3-4 piece band, Guitar, bass drums, or 3 piece, I perform left hand bass. I've also toured fronting a 19 piece big band, all original music, with my own arrangements. I also play great tenor sax. I was the opening act for Bonnie Raitt's Slipstream tour in 2012. I've worked with Willie Nelson, The Meters, Dr. John, Marcia Ball, Stevie Wonder, Randy Newman, Chuck Berry, Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, Donald Fagin of Steely Dan. For private events, weddings, etc, I have a huge party dance, jazz, soul, Funk Repertoire, and for clubs and festivals, I perform more original material.
