MainLine is a New Orleans-based 8-piece funk/hip-hop/soul ensemble that started with an idea by sousaphonist Edward Lee - to build a group with traditional New Orleans brass band horns and add a funk/jam band feel with guitars, organ/keyboards, and drum set while incorporating modern hip-hop concepts. This band is built from the mold of great acts such as Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave, Soulive, Lettuce & The Soul Rebels. Their repertoire consists of original music, hits from some of the greats like James Brown, Earth, Wind and Fire, and Michael Jackson, and some contemporary arrangements of today’s hits. The band has shared the stage with many notable artists such as 50 Cent, Trombone Shorty, and Eric Krasno (Soulive, Lettuce), and have been billed on shows with Metallica, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Jack White, Skrillex, Nas, Billy Kreutzmann (of The Grateful Dead), Bootsy Collins, Gary Clark Jr. and The Revivalists to name a few. Established in 2010, MainLine has built a solid reputation for quality performances and recordings. MainLine's debut album "MainLine Brass Band" was nominated for New Orleans' OffBeat Magazine "Best of the Beat" Award for Best Brass Band Album. The band has been featured on WGNO TV's "News With a Twist", and has also performed at many venues, such as the Voodoo Music & Arts Experience, French Quarter Festival, and Trombone Shorty's "Shorty Fest", an annual festival/fundraiser held during the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival benefitting the Trombone Shorty Foundation. The band has also packed many New Orleans nightclubs such as the House of Blues, Blue Nile and The Maple Leaf Bar, and has performed at corporate/private events throughout New Orleans and the gulf region. If anyone can pull off aligning himself with the famous Louis Armstrong it‟s trumpet extraordinaire – James Andrews. However bold this move may be, the New Orleans native earned the "Satchmo of the Ghetto" alias back in his Treme‟ neighborhood and the name still sizzles in the city!!! He‟s come up through a variety of brass bands (Treme Brass Band, New Birth Brass Band) before forming his own. He has played with Quincy Jones, Dizzy Gillespie, Danny Barker, Dr. John and Michelle Shocked. A protégé of soul man Allen Toussaint, Andrews has taken his place alongside of contemporaries swinging the New Orleans tradition in contemporary ways. Andrews is the real thing and there‟s no novelty in his chops. James Andrews, trumpeter, vocalist, aka "12", aka "Satchmo of the Ghetto", is grandson of the late Jessie "Ooh-Poo-Pah-Doo" Hill; is older brother to Troy Andrews (aka "Trombone Shorty") and is determine to keep the flame of New Orleans Soul and R&B alive and burning in the hearts of many. Andrews’ contribution to the 2011 Grammy Nominated Soundtrack of HBO’s “Treme” has pivoted Andrews even more forward in his career as a stellar musician. Other recent appearances include Jazz At Lincoln Center New York – Tribute to Louis Armstrong Festival for two consecutive seasons; The Sundance Film Festival 2010; New Orleans’ New Years Rockin’ Eve Countdown to 2011. Crossing Canal is a duo consisting of Patrick Cooper and Ruby Ross, two New Orleans singer-songwriters. The duo features beautiful vocal harmonies with Gibson and Martin acoustic guitars as instrumentation. We play original songs along with covers of classic folk and country tunes with our own spin. I am a very versatile artist. I Love charity events, especially ones involving troubled youth or the GLBT community. I also love B-Day parties as well as Engagement Parties, (etc) I do them all. Lots of Times (when requested) I write one special song just for your event. I do mostly pop, r&b, and rap. But I do dabble in a bit of Gospel if it's for a church or just people who prefer that music. My style of entertaining will depend on your party or what you're willing to let me do. I dance, tell jokes, I am a full around entertainer and I'd love to be in business with you.

Gettin' It is a Four piece electric Rock n' Roll band. Two Electric Guitars, Electric Bass and Drum Kit. We play classic New Orleans R&B (Fats Domino, Professor Longhair, Lloyd Price), as well as Reggae, Punk, Blues, and also write their own material in each of these music styles. Being a genre-less band means they play a bunch of styles Ranging from artists like; The Beatles, The Strokes, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Weezer, Spinal Tap, Frank Zappa, and Hank Wlliams cover songs.
