Brandon James is an accomplished performing artist, songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer.
Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Brandon James' passion for music came to him in the form of late nights spinning his father's folk rock vinyl collection including James Taylor, The Beatles and The Eagles. A classically inspired multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, mandolin) singer & songwriter, Brandon's career started in an all boy's choir at the age of 7. He has entertained audiences from Westminster Abbey to singing for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican, and toured extensively all across North America.
In 2012, Brandon received 3 nominations for his solo debut record from the 21st Annual Los Angeles Music Awards for Country Artist Of The Year, Country Album Of The Year, and Country Single Of The Year (Down In the Sand). He has performed at clubs and theatres all across North America and is a regular performer at The Bluebird Cafe here in Nashville, TN featured in both their "Sunday Night Writers Showcase" as well as a "Sunday Night One Hour Showcase" featured artist on multiple occasions.. Brandon is an official roster member of the nationally broadcast TV show, Nashville Unleashed, as well as a performing act of the national talent agency, Live On Stage with his duo, Cotton Wine in the 2014-15 & 2015-16 seasons.
Husband of 8 years to his wife, Shaila and father to his two sons, Ethan James (3.5 yrs) & London James (1 yr), Brandon James is an artist and experienced young writer who has a strong unique approach to song titles, diversity of sound, genre, and subject matters.
