Ashford Gordon hails from the Eastern part of Mississippi. He has entertained in St. Louis, the greater Southwest, Ventura/Oxnard/Los Angeles area. His group, The Local Group, consists of Keyboards, Bass, Drums, Guitar (saxophone, optional). Most of his material is original, but the group also covers such blues artists as Joe Bonamassa, Tommy Castro, John Mayer, B.B. King, Albert King. All Star Trio (AST) has been entertaining the masses at bars, clubs and private events for more years than we care to admit, but combined we have over 80 years of performing experience. The shows are always energy and surprise filled. Led by veteran drummer/vocalist Dominic Tucci, AST covers all types and styles of material from the 50’s to current modern rock. On bass and lead vocals is Joey Ojeda. Joey is another multi-band artist whom you may recognize from an appearance on Bobby Flay’s Food Nation TV show where he and Dominic were part of the featured guest band. Mark Wein rocks AST with guitar and vocal duties. Mark is a consummate professional who teaches others to play guitar privately as well as future musicians at OCSA.

About The Barn Owls The Barn Owls was founded in 2023 by three musicians located in Southern California. With a common interest in creating an authentic blues sound reminiscent of artists from the 1920s, 30s and 40s, the trio has found their niche. When they started rehearsing early in 2023, the group had a deep knowledge and understanding of the rich history associated with such artists as Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Little Walter and many others who influenced the music industry not only here in the USA but Europe and other parts of the world.
