SEA AT LAST IS COHEN AND TORY ELENA, A DYNAMIC DUO THAT EXPLORES SOUND LIKE GYPSY SEA CAPTAINS ON A CARAVAN TO NEPTUNE. While Cohen rockets audiences to deep space on guitar, Tory Elena is the ultimate one-woman rhythm section, booming to the earth’s core. Their voices wield equal power singing songs they compose together. Sea At Last’s music can make a hole-in-the-wall cowboy bar feel like a raging stadium, and a festival of thousands feel as intimate as a fireside chantey sung alone under the stars. Wild and expansive, Sea at Last’s cinematic rock and roll offers both solace and storm, soulful and untamable as the sea itself.

Shape Pitaki was founded in 2012 by Shane Thompson and Greg Johnson. After playing in multiple bands and projects, the duo started to switch things up by having Thompson step forward from the drums as lead singer/songwriter/guitarist. With Johnson taking lead guitar/vocals, Brett Peloquin on bass, and Carlen Walth on Rhodes piano/Hammond B3/guitar/lap steel the group took to recording their full-length "Lonely This Is". Through a couple rotations of members, the band has found its focus as a trio with Mike Willson on drums. After playing multiple venues all over Southern California, the band released a music video for "Can't Go Home" from their recent EP "Let's Get Gnarly & Chill". 2017 promises to be a big year with SXSW and a fall tour!

An indie rock band with a devilish touch from Southern CA.

Started in their college years, Headed was formed out of good friends and the feeling of youthful restlessness. Their music evokes the thoughtful lyricism and artsy convictions of indie rock legends Arcade Fire and Death Cab for Cutie, with the sonic exterior of something raw and exciting, reminiscent of the Pixies. The themes are thoughtful and often speak of the most relatable emotion that defines the human experience; love. But that's not to say that they simply write love songs, the band could never write a one dimensional story. The characters of each song-story explore the complexities of youth, illness, and relationships both platonic and romantic. The execution is in the style of a traditional rock band; drums, bass, and two guitars. The riffs are catchy, at times danceable, and highly melodic. In one moment the dual vocals of members Sam Smiley and Adriana Roda-Stuart can bring crowds to silence with their unique vocal blend and in others incite the audience to sing or even scream along. Backed by the quirky and melodic distortion of lead guitarist Chris Hollis and the mathematical precision of drummer Brayden Wiggins as he navigates time signatures unheard of in punk circles, the sound that results is truly unforgettable and uniquely infectious.

Indie, folk, rock, euro-rock, psychedelic, all those terms are used to describe the style of Charly&Faust. Their out-of-the-box creative process makes it hard to put a tag on their genre. Fronted by two French female vocalists, the European band performs heart touching ballads telling stories from love to heartbreak. Initially introduced to each other in Paris, France, Charly and Faust are joined by Coralie Hervé, Eric Reymond, Jefferson Fichou and Nathan Lorber under the sun of California. For the last year they go around venues in the Los Angeles area from legendary ones like the Whisky A Go-Go to young ones like The Satellite. On October 2017 their first EP ‘Wild World’ was released. Charly&Faust also did their first music video for their song ‘No Rush’ in collaboration with a Spanish director Mariano Schoendorff Arès. The music video got selected in multiple festivals and won some already.

Manuel The Band

Emerging from Long Beach, CA the Rock-Jazz-Americana group, Manuel The Band, was founded by songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Manuel Grajeda. The band’s lineup consists of Brandon Charlesworth (Drums), George Madrid (Pedal Steel), Richard Fernandez (Trombone), Frank Hudson (Bass), and Matt Kalin (Saxophone). Manuel The Band has made an impression on the Southern California pop- music scene with a unique sound stemming from influences such as John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band and Gram Parsons. The band has managed to mix entertainment styles, becoming one of the leading "go-to" bands for weddings, city events, birthdays etc due to their eclectic sound, dance worthy covers and versatility in style.

Fairhazel is the moniker of 22 year old British/South African singer songwriter Hugh Macdonald. Hugh left Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2018 returning to London to work with Communion Music under the name Fairhazel, releasing his first single 7x7 in February to great critical acclaim. Roisin O’Connor of The Independent described it as having "tender, whispering vocals that recall the likes of Villagers, Ben Howard and Sufjan Stevens”.   Although Fairhazel is a solo venture, a band often accompanies him (Louis Giannamore, Alexander Naim Noorani, Karim Saber, Elliot Deubel, Juniper, Nate Daviau) at shows and he has opened for Agnes Obel, Banfi and Astræa. Recently he played Whispering Bob Harris's Under the Apple Tree.
