Jesse Blaze Snider
MTV hired Jesse Blaze Snider out of college and he shaped the taste of a generation working with AOL Music, Fuse and as a DJ in New York on WLIR. Then he moved into Voice Over. Making the words on a teleprompter screen sound “real” made Jesse the voice of Gamestop, Cheetos and Pizza Hut in under a year.
Jesse moved to Los Angeles in 2012 and a world of opportunity opened. By 2013, he became the voice of Kia Motors, live announcer for Spike’s Video Game Awards, narrator for “Food Paradise” on Travel, multiple roles in Final Fantasy and Call of Duty video game franchises and taking leading roles in animated projects.
His entertainment career is diverse, but Jesse has continuously pursued his one true love…writing.
To date he has written songs for ESPN Monday Night Football, FoxSports, Ford, NASCAR, Smithsonian Channel and others. In 2015, his song “Alive” appeared in both the trailer and end credits for the film “Reach Me,” starring Sylvester Stallone. “Juggernaut,” his song from his previous band, BAPTIZED BY FIRE, is the theme song for the mega popular “The Movie Crypt” podcast.
His FIRST FULL LENGTH SOLO ALBUM dropped on September 16th with a music video for his NFL hit “Promised Land” directed by Oscar Nominated Director John Herzfeld.
BONUS, Jesse is also a COMIC BOOK WRITER who has written for some of the world’s biggest companies, from Marvel to DC Comics, Disney/Pixar and The Muppets.
Jesse’s music comic book/project “Black Light District” is in limited release to rave reviews from music and comic book fans alike. The blacklightdistrict.co website has released 6 (of 6) mini comic books illustrated by industry greats like Chris Burnham, Jason Pearson and Phil Hester. Image Comics released a collection, “black light district: 6issues” on October 12th.
Jesse is oldest son of legendary Dee Snider, lead singer of Twisted Sister, and has appeared on MTV’s “Rock The Cradle,” A&E’s “Growing Up Twisted,” and several other reality and TV shows.
