A lover of the greats in folk, pop and soul, her influences are evident in both her songwriting and performing. mesmi is available to play both covers and originals, and she often accompanies herself at shows on either guitar or piano. She has been a featured performer at a number of events and venues across the region, including the Hollywood House of Blues, the Silverlake Lounge, the San Diego, L.A., and O.C. Born in Mali, West Africa as Ali Kamiya Ba in Bankass, a small rural village below the cliffs of Bandiagara, home to the legendary Dogon people, Ali spent many years in Mali as a successful tour guide and a professional singer. A multi-cultural mix of the Malinke' and nomadic Fulani tribe, Ali speaks five languages; Fulbe, Dogon, Bambara, French and English.

The Morning Yells is a Los Angeles-based band that evolved from the brother-sister duo Phil and Lu (Phil and Laura Stancil). The siblings, who have been playing music together their entire lives, are now joined by fellow multi-instrumentalists Trevor Smith and Curran McDowell to form The Morning Yells. The foursome will release their debut LP this Summer. They released an EP "Proper Wilted" in October 2017, which received high praise from press reviews. John Paniccia is a guitarist/pianist/vocalist who plays a mixed bag of Classic Rock, Americana, Country, Standards and Oldies for all ages. He hails from upstate New York where he played in various local bands, eventually landing in L.A. (and SoCal 'at large') to pursue a career as a singer-songwriter. That effort led to recording several demos at Capitol Records for artists such as Glenn Campbell and the 'Alt Rock' band 'Visions'. Today he continues to write and record his own material while still performing 'Live' throughout the Bakersfield area. His musical 'covers' catalogue reads like a 'Greatest Hits' of the past 5 decades, covering everyone from Billy Joel to the Beatles, America to the Eagles, and just about every major Top 40 artist and 'one hit wonder' of the Rock and Roll era.
