Detroit Diesel Power is an American rock & roll band featuring singer/bassist Regina Zernay, rhythm guitarist/singer Darren Roberts, and drummer Adriel Hernandez. The band mixes rock, punk, and rockabilly. Detroit Diesel Power's latest EP, "Stupid Fun," is currently available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby.
Regina formed the band in 2013, after finishing tours playing bass for Cee Lo Green and Cowboy Mouth. Since then, Detroit Diesel Power has played at venues throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding areas, including the L.A. Coliseum, The Viper Room, Silverlake Lounge, the Double Down in Vegas, the House of Blues Sunset (Main Stage, Foundation Room, and Parish Room), the House of Blues Anaheim (opening for The Ataris), Tio Leo's in San Diego (opening for Red Elvises), the Only in Hollywood Festival, and live radio performances on KXLU 88.9's "LIVATION" (Los Angeles) and KXSC - USC Radio (Los Angeles).
The band's debut EP, "16:16," received radio airplay across the country, including KJRW (Seattle, WA), WQRM-FM (Washington, DC), WOCM-FM (Ocean City, MD), WXQR-FM (Greenville, NC), WYAV-FM (Myrtle Beach, SC), WCHE-AM (Philadelphia, PA), KNEN-FM (Omaha, NE), This Week in America (National), PPRN (National), The Bobby D. Influences include Blondie, Garbage, No Doubt, Green Day, the Pretenders, and the Ramones.
