Woot Talley
Hi! I'm Woot Talley and I am a singer/songwriter from Austin, TX. I've played in a lot bands over the years (many you've never heard of) in a lot bars/venues (many have closed down, burned or flattened) and learned, sang and played many songs as well. I started writing and performing my own songs in the early 2010s at coffee houses in Austin, building my song list and acquiring friends and players along the way. By 2012 we had a band and we just called it the Box. It was named after a stompbox I play with when I do solo shows that has a State of Maryland license plate on top, which I affectionately call Marilyn. We started doing the deal and played in as many places in Austin as we could get gigs... We played the Saxon Pub, One2One, Poodies, Angel's Icehouse, Junior's/Alcove, Hanovers, The Roost, Threadgills, Antones, Freddies and NXNW, just to name a few.... I put out a cd in 2015 of 11 songs called "Right Where I Want to Be." I recorded it with the Box at the Sound Lab with my good friend Phil Mezzetti. It turned out better than I ever imagined... I hope to have another one released later in 2019 and I have a penciled in title of Groovy Town. If you're looking for a band that plays authentic Austin music blues/country/pop/jazz/stuff then I know I can foot the bill. Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.... Woot

Megan Pauls
I love singing for people even if they aren’t paying attention and just enjoying time with friends, enjoying a book or some coffee. I ultimately want to sing in coffee shops, restaurants, markets etc. something chill and laid back :) I enjoy singing acoustic covers with my guitar or ukulele and harmonizing with a friend. I’m not asking to get paid because I’d be happy to do it for free but getting paid is nice too.

Jon Parmentier
Songs inspired by nature--melodic, mellifluous, and musical as hell. Jon uses the strings (no vocals!) to paint pictures and elicit emotions where words fall short. Think of him as a singer/songwriter, without all of that singing. Jon’s CDs feature themes inspired by nature, including Salmon Run, Music for Redwoods, Wild River, and Gray Whale Migration. His Texas Hill Country CD helps you visualize the landscape and natural forces that shape the heart of Texas. Leave the stress of the day at the door and get ready to melt into your chair.
