Singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and illustrator, Mandy Sloan, the whimsical artisan, does it all. And to be completely transparent, the artist does it all while barely knowing a lick of music theory.  Mandy Sloan writes on raw emotion, and her authentic love of creating textured places, worlds, and stories her audience can be taken to.  As a 13 year old, the lyricist began playing guitar from an incessant need to be like her older brother. Her fingers were constantly calloused and torn from playing No Doubt riffs in the basement, while her head was filled of Death Cab for Cutie, and Pedro the Lion tunes blared daily by her brother. Still, it wasn’t until her family moved from Nebraska to Florida, that Mandy began writing her own songs. “It was the only way I could cope with high school, and feeling extremely uncomfortable in my skin.” -Mandy The need to medicate through music followed Mandy throughout college where she recorded her first EP, found success playing around Florida, and on to Austin, TX, where she’s written, recorded and produced three full length albums.  After completing her last concept album, Whispers and Dreams, Mandy dove into a vibrant, beachy, electronic experiment. From doo-wop songs, to distorted guitars, Blue Summer comprises of all the emotions, nostalgia, and bliss one feels in summertime.  At the moment, the artist can be found working on her next two works. One, an electronic, tribal side project under the name Yucca, and the other, a whimsical story album that Mandy will unfold more about in due time.

Austin singer-songwriter Christina Cavazos may be new to the scene, but her musical maturity is fully evident on her second EP, Cold, released in February, 2017. Showcasing her clear soprano and accomplished songwriting, producer Louie Lino (Nada Surf, Ume, Matt Pond PA) layers Cavazos’ vocals over lush sonic collages, creating an elegant dream-pop mix full of allure. Peter Blackstock of the Austin American Statesman named it one of 5 "standout" EP's by Austin artists in 2017. He writes: "This EP by Christina Cavazos might be the best thing I've heard from a new Austin artist since I moved back to town...Not just a future name to watch, but a captivating singer-songwriter who has already arrived...Cavazos casts beautifully dreamy spells with her clear, high voice drifting above smartly low-key arrangements that allow the compelling melodies of her original tunes to shine.” Others have been quick to notice, too, and she has received radio airplay on Austin's KGSR, SUN Radio, 101X and KUTX, where her track "Over Me" was the song of the day on March 2nd, 2017. A student studying music composition at the Austin School for Performing and Visual Arts, Cavazos began studying piano and singing in her church choir at 6. At 12, she switched to guitar, and she started writing songs at 14. In 2016, she released her debut studio recording, a five song EP, About You, which was produced by Austin's Taylor Muse (Quiet Company). Later that year, she earned a scholarship to and attended Berklee College of Music’s summer program in Boston. She has twice placed as a finalist in the Old Settler’s Music Festival Youth Talent Competition (2016 and 2017). Christina attended the Southwest Regional Folk Alliance in September 2017 where she was invited to perform four unofficial showcases. She is now in the studio recording songs for her next release, slated for early 2018. Christina has performed at some of Texas' most celebrated venues, including Antone's, The Cactus Cafe, McGonigel's Mucky Duck, Threadgill's, Strange Brew, and the Pecan Street Art Festival. In April of 2017, one of her live shows was filmed for an episode of "Live at the Cactus" which was televised nation-wide on ESPN's Longhorn Network channel. In November, 2017, she was featured on BalconyTV's world famous internet channel. Christina's wide-ranging influences include the Beatles, Aimee Mann, Ingrid Michelson, Bon Iver, Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie), the Civil Wars and Fleetwood Mac, but her sound is all her own. Taylor Wallace of KUTX, Austin, agrees, writing: "Austin’s own Christina Cavazos is a young soprano-wielding talent well beyond her age. The maturity of her songwriting matches that of her voice, possessing the wisdom and hints of life-learned melancholy usually found in someone well into womanhood."

Scottish born and raised multi-instrumentalist, beta, has been living in Austin, TX for the past five years. Heavily influenced by David Bowie, Eva Cassidy and Azure Ray, her psychedelic easy listening style has charmed audiences all over the US and Europe. Her fire is best captured with her four-piece band, Magical Spacecat, but she also loves serenading a crowd on her own. When flying solo, she enjoys to perform a mixture of covers and original material.

Rumor Whiskey is a six piece cover band from Austin, TX. Diverse not only in members (most of the band members have spent most of their life outside of the USA), but also in musical tastes, Rumor Whiskey covers a wide range of songs ranging from classic rock, reggae, 90’s rock, etc. The band came in first at the 2017 edition of Battle of the Tech bands event held in Austin. We plan to bring our interpretations of upbeat, widely-beloved setlist of timeless covers to audiences at various venues in and around the live music capital of the world – Austin.

Descendants of Erdrick is a progressive/metal video game tribute band from Austin, Texas, specializing in (but not limited to) covers of "epic" role-playing/adventure genre games. The band is composed of guitarist/vocalist/front-woman Amanda Lepre, synth-pop keyboardist Emily Thompson, and a progressive-metal/jazz influenced rhythm section featuring bassist Thad Stevens and drummer Jim Watson. The band’s repertoire covers soundtracks ranging from classic adventure franchises and games such as THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, FINAL FANTASY, CHRONO TRIGGER, SUPER MARIO BROS, and SECRET OF MANA, among others. The name of the band is in reference to the first-ever console JRPG, DRAGON WARRIOR (also known as DRAGON QUEST). In the true spirit of the role-playing/adventure game, each instrumental "medley" of songs is aimed at telling a story, often using sound effects, ambient vocals, and visuals alongside the instrumentals to establish a mood.

Hot Pickin 57s is a 4-piece acoustic band out of Austin playing standards and originals in bluegrass, classic country (Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, etc), Rockabilly (Chuck Berry, Ricky Nelson, Johnny Rivers, etc.), Texas Swing and some Gypsy Jazz. The band got together in January 2016, and had a terrific year with shows at Luckenbach, 30th Annual Grapefest, a 290 Texas House Concert sponsored by the Texas Heritage Music Foundation, and Oskar Blues among many others. Max is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston (majors in guitar and mandolin performance) and began several recent projects, including Hot Pickin' Bluegrass, One Eye Open, and a duo with Eddie. Eddie Collins is a long-time Austin musician, having performed with many of the area’s top acoustic groups. He has nine solo CDs, which include many original tunes that can be heard on over twenty-five commercially released recordings. Eddie plays banjo, guitar, mandolin, and sings lead & harmony. Mike Montgomery started classical violin training at age 10. He grew up also immersed in Old Timey and Bluegrass music. While he continued to study violin at college, his love of science led him to a PhD in Astronomy from the University of Texas at Austin. Since graduating, Mike has been working as a professional astronomer, and his research has taken him to Vienna, Cambridge in the UK, and finally back to Austin. Since his return, he has played with Whit Smith's Hot Jazz Caravan, and artists such as Alan Munde, Billy Bright, and Eddie Collins, and now Hot Pickin Bluegrass. Mike also sings harmony vocals. Vance Hazen rounds out the band on upright bass and lead & harmony vocals. Born in Montana and raised in Ohio, he has branched out, touring across the US, Europe and Japan, playing electric and upright bass with a wide assortment of bands. We have our own dedicated full PA and sound tech available.

Transit Method was founded in the suburbs of New Jersey by brothers Matt and Mike LoCoco in 2010. After releasing their first full length album Spun Into The Fabric in 2011, the band relocated to Austin, TX where they released their 2013 EP Spectrum and second full length album Celebrate Mutations in 2014. At the start of 2015, the band acquired bassist Danny Cruz Borja, Jr. and continue to tour and record as this lineup. The group has toured the Northeast and Southeast and regularly perform around Texas. They have shared the stage with The Tea Club, District 97, Bobaflex, Wheatus, The Sword, Ringo Deathstarr, Opposite Day, Megafauna, The Invincible Czars, Opposite Box, Big Mean Sound Machine, and Rishloo. In 2015, Transit Method took part in an original documentary feature entitled “If You Don’t Love It, Change It” where they filmed their first music video for "Artificial Genesis." In support of their two-song EP Roach out on May 27 via Basement Avatar Records, the band scheduled a 9-date Spring tour of the Southeast touring as far as Asheville, NC. "Roach" offers a fresh and new sonic approach for Transit Method having taken their sound further into the grunge realm by adding a dash of thrash while always maintaining their prog edge. “Roach,” the single and title-track, is an uptempo rock tune that tells the story of mankind being overrun and ultimately consumed by cockroaches. The music video features a deranged female hell bent on eliminating the cockroach infestation that has taken over her unkempt ramshackle abode using any and all means necessary. The band sounds akin to and can appeal to fans of the following bands: Rush, Soundgarden, Jane's Addiction, Megadeth, Nirvana

The Hallettsville, TX girl and Boerne, TX guy met through a work friend July 2014 in San Antonio while participating in a Make A Wish Foundation project. Jade and Bryan have both been playing around the New Braunfels/San Antonio area for years before as solo acts, but gave the duo thing a shot around February 2015. They hit the ground running writing, recording and performing their songs. Their quirky personalities and impressive harmonies, mixed with their soulful, country-rock sound have started to catch the ears of many people across Texas. With plans to put out a record Fall 2016, these two are looking forward to what the future holds.

They have shared stages with Clifton Chenier, Buckwheat Zydeco, Fats Domino, Zachary Richard, Wayne Troups, Doug Kershaw, Rocking Dupsey, Boozoo Chavis, Beau Jocques, and many others.
