Jonathan Terrell has roots music in his blood. Born into a large family of former-cult member musicians, he entered this world in the back room of a trailer hidden out among the deep pines of East Texas. In his younger years, playing in the church band and working horses was all he knew. Since moving to Austin, Texas, Terrell has bloomed into a well-respected songwriter of deeply moving and resonant country-folk music explorations. Although he's graced the stage with country legends such as Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, Terrell never fully rests on traditional country music. “A good song is a good song” Says JT. Pulling inspiration from dreamscapes and in depth stories from the gorgeous and gritty corners of Americana, Terrell is undoubtedly a new breed of country. Terrell received international praise for his 2008 full length solo debut Trials and Stimulations, and then began work on his next record until shelving the project in 2011 to front the charismatic, ever-touring rock'n'roll band Not In The Face. Terrell released his unshelved Americana gem Past the Lights of Town on Candy Bang Records Fall 2015 followed by residencies in NYC, DC and Philadelphia, a UK tour and a sold out French Tour. Terrell returned to his second album of songs and shaped them into an enchanting collection of yearning and bravado, of heartbreak and redemption.

BIO Paula is an Austin-based performing songwriter with a penchant for melody, storytelling and poetic lyricism. Raised in New England and Spain, her music is informed by a variety of influences from classical music to popular Jazz, Folk, Rock and Blues. She's won songwriting kudos from internationally known songwriting clubs like the Kerrville Folk Festival, Wildflower Festival and the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (double finalist). Been writing and performing for 35 years or so. Looking for 1 to 3 hour sets. I really don't have a genre. I've had a band for the last 15 years, but now looking for solo or acoustic work. Singer/songwriter/guitarist able to handle up to 4 hours of original and/or cover material. I've played many acoustic sets in Austin area venues such as Antone's, Spider House, One World Theatre, Kick Butt, Strange Brew, Saxon Pub, Gibson Showroom, Maggie Mae's, Hill Country Golf, Vineyard at Florence, Roots, Dell Diamond, etc... in addition to many private events at homes. My acoustic shows are influenced by some personal favorite singer/songwriters like John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Alan Stone and Jason Mraz. I was the youngest of 30 artists selected in nationwide auditions to perform live on last summer's prime time, "ABC Rising Star". That same year I was named to "Kings of A&R" top emerging artists to watch in 2014. My original songs range from thoughtful ballads to high energy, pop rock songs. Covers include artists already mentioned plus a few crowd favorites by artists like Bruno Mars, The Script and Meagan Trainer. My acoustic sets work well where people are there to listen and be entertained, not just back ground fill. I can provide a Bose portable PA when needed or plug into your system. I often incorporate a loop pedal on some songs to add some groove & variety.
