Hey! I'm Ty Suite, the Voice Guitar guy / one man band from Austin, Texas. I'm a native Austinite. I'm also an actor and artist. My live show can range from smooth and relaxed to energetic and interactive. I like to improvise songs on the spot with moods depending on the energy of the crowd. However I also mix covers, originals, or even DJ special requests listeners want to hear. I create songs on the spot by looping intricate beatboxing, harmonious singing, and live drums on my iPhone, yes, my iPhone. I make a pretty cool electric guitar sound from my voice that most people have to look twice to see where the sound is coming from. For over a decade I've played on stages small and big, from street corners, to schools, churches, weddings, clubs, and concert festivals locally and internationally. If you need your event to be a memorable experience, look no further. If you just want low background music so patrons can read, sweet! I can do it. If you want a live concert with everyone in the room participating and having fun, sweet! I can do that too. I can run my own sound system which is good for a crowd up to 200 people or I can just use a DI box and electrical outlet if you have a really good house system. Boss Battle channels a sludgy, dirty, hard-pop feel with layers of massive acoustic drums, synthetic sub-bass, sputtery robotic guitars, and hooky megapop vocals. All of our bass is done in analog synthesizers, giving us a huge sound that we sync up with a light show. Think Yeah Yeah Yeahs with a meatier Jesus Lizard feel. Andy Cooper, James Caton, and Michael Cooper make up Room 24, an alt-rock/alt-metal 3-piece out of Austin, Texas that was voted among the top 10 "Best U18 Bands" in The Austin Chronicle's Austin Music Awards poll the past two years, and won the 7th annual Jam Fest in Austin in 2014. Their EP, Closer To Reality, produced and engineered by Tim Gerron, has received highly favorable reviews by such music blogs as Jamsphere, The Faulkner Review, and The Independent Spotlight. Although clearly influenced by Deftones and Incubus, Room 24 considers their music best described as “melodic alternative” rock. The 3-piece strives for a sound that never reduces to instruments playing conventional chords and expected progressions. Instead, their music is layered and textured, full of melodic lines and harmonic structures.The result is music that sounds and feels much greater than the sum of only 3 individual parts.

Some of Shawn’s first memories were when he frequented a used car lot with his dad, who was a salesman there. Always an inquisitive soul, Shawn would wander while his dad worked. One hot summer day, he followed a melancholy tune. The song led him to a homeless man strumming his old guitar on the corner. Shawn strolled up and asked him his name." I'm James," the man said. "What do you think of my music?" Shawn nodded and smiled his approval. James asked if he liked jazz and the blues. With a shrug, Shawn said, "I don't know. Do I?" An instant bond was formed, and Shawn came back to visit James and learn guitar everyday that summer. In the dead heat of August, his dad was laid off and told Shawn it was his last day to come to the car lot. Sad to say goodbye, Shawn told James he couldn't come around anymore. The homeless man with nothing more in the world to give, took his old guitar, the time-worn strap barely hanging on, and handed it to Shawn. "You take this guitar and go make something out of your life. I'll be watchin'." Shawn gave the man an equivalent gift, a promise he'd play everyday. And he is playing everyday making more and more memories.

Ranked among the Top 10 female vocalists and world music artists at the 2015-16 Austin Music Awards, Nagavalli’s music is described as "East-Indian Soul with delicate touches of Pop, Rock, Trance and pure Eastern tradition". Nagavalli grew up in Mumbai, India, speaks her native language of Telugu at home and is also well-versed in Hindi and English. She moved to Austin, Texas after finishing graduate school in Florida. Through her journey, Valli realized that it is in music that she experiences moments of pure joy. Valli is fascinated with how one can connect deeply even with strangers through music and voice. Nagavalli continues her Eastern Soul journey with the release of two new singles, "Reach Out" and "How I love you" in 2016. In addition, Valli will release in 2017, The Bhakti Project, an album of devotional music in the Eastern Indian tradition. Our grandparents had the war, our parents had marijuana, and we have Prozac. It is not much, but it seems like the theme of my generation is, "eat what they feed you." Gone are the days when the youth took to the streets in hunt of live culture. Gone are the days of revolutionary art. Maybe unchecked idealism was a failed policy. But at least they tried.
