SNAPSHOT The Purpose of Who I Am is to create a welcoming community, based upon a love and appreciation for music and a love and respect for all people.Why the name Who I Am? Ken Holt chose the name Who I Am because it calls for complete honesty and authenticity in the music. When Ken steps on stage, performing as a DUO with Mary Kate Brennan, or with a full BAND, the GOAL is that the music played, the vibe and interaction with the fans would be an honest representation of the purpose and intent of Who I Am. In other words, as one fan put it, “this is the real deal.”

BACKGROUND Ken has played in bands since High School, through College, and beyond. With New England band, The Blend, Ken recorded two albums with MCA and opened for The Who and other major rock acts. Today, Ken and Mary Kate are creating a new blend of Americana music. Who I Am is becoming known for their “engaging” and welcoming spirit, bringing a natural professionalism to every performance.
