Bob Lippitt is a classically trained pianist and
guitarist, as well as an accomplished arranger and
composer. He is the owner/producer of LP Recording
Studios of Berkley, MI. Bob played has with and backed
up Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Peter Noone, Tiny
Tim, The Ronettes, Feddie Cannon and Jack Scott. He
has recorded with many well-known local artists such as
Norma jean Bell, Alexander Zonjic and Regina Carter, to
name a few.

Lenea Bell has sung from coast to coast with
groups as diverse as the Count Basie Band and Boz
Scaggs. Her smooth, silky voice has been characterized
as a cross between Barbara Streisand and Sarah
Vaughn.

E Paul (Jake) Jacobson - Bass
Jake is a multi-instrument musician born and raised in
eastern South Dakota. His ‘early-years’ were focused
on Rock & Roll groups performing in Midwestern/Plains
State venues. While in Minnesota, Jake became active in
session and gig work on bass, keyboards and guitar, with
Rock Legend Prince, and many of his different spun-off
bands. The bass instruments chosen for his jazz
performances include a Pre-WWII Double Bass and a
NS-Design 5-String ‘stick-bass’.

Steve Rose - Sax
After earning his masters degree from Wayne State,
Steve taught at Detroit Public Schools for 32 years, but
at night became one of the hottest sax commodities in
Detroit, with countless local and national musical acts to
his credit. Steve has played with the likes of Johnny Trudell,
Ray Coniff, Nelson Riddle and Harry Connick Jr.
He would lead his own bands as well. The Gold Tones
circa '72 - '83; and then again, The First Impressions in
the 80's and 90's. Steve has played locally with the
Jim David group, The Bill Meyer group and Sunrise,
a top wedding band in the 70's, 80's.

David (Stix) Xuodel - Drums
Hailing from Capetown South Africa, David is a tour de force
of rythmic style and endurance. His heavy Latin influence can be
heard in his veritable encyclopedia of different drum grooves.
He has played with acts as diverse as the Meters and the
Electric Stones. He wrote his own drum concerto at the age
of 16. David studied under Art Blakey in his early 20's and
spent most of his 30s in New York playing places like Iridium
and Blue Note. Now in the Detroit area, with teaching, playing
clubs and writing big-band arrangements taking most of his
time, he still hopes to continue to develop his distinct nuevo-jazz
latin drum style within the tradition of his African roots.'s, 80's.
