Getting down in bars and venues in Houston, TX and surrounding areas

The Good Heart began in Sugar Land, Texas as a duo with Daniel Perez and Kevin Thompson playing at coffee shops and bars in the Houston area.

Both musicians draw inspiration from music ranging from Texas Country all the way to Post-Hardcore all of which combine into a truly unique style.

The band reached its final form with the addition of bassist Matt Zaldivar and drummer Kevin Mathis in July 2016.
"Our music is meant to be there for people the way music has always been there for us. It is honest, easy to relate to music. We write about our own personal experiences in hopes that our listeners find comfort and truth through our songs.

Everyone has a good heart, sometimes you just have to find it."
