Guitarist, producer, composer, bandleader James Morgan, was on the ballot for Grammy Awards consideration for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album for the 2025 67th Grammy Awards. The Ghost Jazz Trio/Quartet has a "Smooth West Coast Contemporary Jazz Vibe" providing cool laid-back jazz grooves to enhance your corporate or private event, wedding reception, restaurant and club venue. We perform original music from all four of their albums and jazz covers by George Benson, Pat Metheny, Miles Davis, Chick Corea and others. We adjust the song selection and volume level to the energy and noise level of the event. We offer a trio, or quartet, depending on availability. We provide a full 1000 watt PA upon request, and full insurance coverage for properties that require it.

Additional booking policies:
The rates include fuel costs, travel time to and from event venue, setup and breakdown of gear and performance time. The host agrees to provide parking for all members of the band including covering all parking fees at private and public parking lots. The host agrees to provide adequate electrical, lighting, ventilation and heating (if needed) at the performance area of the venue. The host agrees to provide complimentary meals and beverages to the trio at events and venues that feature food and drink. No song or music genre requests will be considered or accepted by guests or hosts during the performance. The band will take a 10 minute break every 50 minutes for shows requiring more than a 1 hour performance. Book Now if a cool jazz trio is a good fit for your event!
