Growing up in rural Missouri, Wesley Alan was heavily inspired by his creative family and good old country music. At the age of 6, Wesley Alan got his first taste of performing live when he sang “You Are My Sunshine” with his grandmother, Bonnie Hawkins. Both Bonnie and Wesley’s dad showed him the ropes on the guitar, and the itch to sing and perform was planted.

When asked to describe his music, Wesley often says “Hillbilly Rock”. Drawing inspiration from such artists as Johnny Cash, Corey Smith, Muddy Waters, Otis Redding, Travis Tritt, and the Allman Brothers, The Band Special 20 consistently leaves audiences wanting more.
