The Son of Strays sound is heavily inspired by American Roots music, fusing elements of blues, folk, jazz, rock & country. Their live show is raw and energetic, that incorporates a seamless blend of traditionals and original songs. From swampy slide guitar, to uptempo boogie woogie and moody dirges the band conjures a unique cocktail of atmospheric rootsy music. With a stripped down line-up of 2 guitars, 2 vocalist, bass and drums they deliver a big sound.

Their self-titled debit album is very much about renewal and change; moving on and letting go and the ghosts you encounter along the way. They cover themes like addiction, ego battles, war and the inner turmoil that precedes transformation.
