Born DaQuan Dodson and raised as a Peterburg native with his natural love for music QD soon started recording songs for his homies in his room to make some extra cash to support his shoe habits at first. Being inspired by his friends and hometown artist such as Illyaas, Tyra B & Trey Songz; he decided to take a shot at putting words together himself. The rest is history.
