Paula's such an accomplished singer-songwriter on her own that it's a pleasant surprise to hear her in a whole 'nother context: as jazz chanteuse. She's got the vocal chops to handle the twists and turns of the old standards, and excellent taste in backup musicians. It's a lively, toe-tapping show, and I look forward to hearing it again.

“I have been a fan of Paula Held’s music for many years since the first time she performed at my restaurant, Linda’s Fine Foods in Wimberley in 2011. So much of a fan that I asked her to play with her trio, Moon Blossom, at my son’s rehearsal dinner in November. I had in mind Jazz Standards and mentioned to Paula that quite a few Brazilians would be at the party. The group performed beautifully and professionally, including playing several Bossa Nova instrumentals in her sets along with vocal Jazz Standards. Sensuous and classy music. I couldn’t have been more pleased.” - Linda Allen
