Born in Brazil, Danna Miranda began her career at the age of 8 when she discovered her passion for music and dance. She studied Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary Dance, African Dance and Flamenco. At 12 years old, she moved to São Luis, Maranhão, northeastern Brazil where she could learn a lot about traditional Brazilian rhythms. Soon, she started to sing in a reggae band which was a huge success. With this band (Mystical Roots), she had the opportunity to open the show for “The Wailers” - Bob Marley’s original band. Looking for more, she moved to Dubai where she had the opportunity to learn a lot about the influence of Arabic rhythms. In 2013, she moved to Italy.
